So far I think this mix is helping to rejuvenate those sad spots in the grass. The grass is looking more even. The previous owner had dogs. This mix is helping.

This was easy to use and is coming up nicely so far. I just raked the area to break that top soil up, spread the seed and watered and that was it. Pretty easy and no fuss.

My husband was able to apply this product to some bare patches in our front and back yards that get varying degrees of sun and shade throughout the day. We love that the fertilizer is included in with the grass seed to save a step during application.

I love it .... its perfect .. I love the good price for 35 dollars I just got it today now the price is 40 still good price for a 20 Lb bag ..... at Lowes in Bellingham I bought a smaller bag ............. I didn't want mulch so I'm happy it did not have mulch ...................................................................................................................................................................................................... I almost bought a 50 Lb bag .. it was over 60 percent mulch .. the front of the bag is miss leading making you assume your buying all seed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We planted this seed in an area that died during the wintertime. The application was easy, and germination was quick. We had a lot of empty spaces though in the grass itself. Maybe over time, it will fill in better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've can only base my review on my results so far. I have planted this in an area where there are pets and kids running. It's super easy to use as it's easy to see where it's planted. I followed directions as per the bag and it's an awesome blue/green color until it's watered. We only planted it maybe a week ago so the results so far are slim. Some sprouting but not alot. I really hope this works in my yard.

But the company who provided me with the free product demands a review so here we are. I will come back and write a real review once the ground has warmed enough for me to actually landscape and use this grass seed. We till had snow flurries until a week ago, just saying !!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pennington Smart Seed 20 lbs. Sun and Shade South Grass Seed and Fertilizer Its really wonderful when a product does what it says it will do. We spend so much time in our yard all year round. Sometimes we have extreme heat so you want to be able to stay cool. We put Pennington grass seed under our trees to promote healthy and thick grass. After a couple of days there are small sprouts. Can't wait to see the new growth every where
