It's a cheap set. And you can tell

I was so excited with this TV as it would have 1 remote and roku built in. I was quickly disappointed. The picture quality is less than great but for an inexpensive TV it's fine. My issue is with the response with the remote. Sometimes the tv responds quickly. Other times I have to wait and wait to see if there is a response. I don't think it's the remote, I think it's the built in roku. Furthermore when I turn the TV on. I am met with a back screen. I try to issues a few directives with the remote to get the Home Screen. Periodically I have to turn the TV off and back on. If it weren't for the light at the base I would not be able to tell if the tv was on. All in all, it's not a purchase I would recommend not would I buy another

I have these in the bedrooms. They're perfect. we can watch Spectrum,Netflix, Hulu, pretty much everything. Lots of apps available. Good picture and sound. Best of all it's so easy to set up! It's very light so it's easy to pick up and move if you need to. Great buy. I've had them for well over a year now with no problems.

Beware of the updates

I bought this for our new motorhome last summer everything was fine up through Christmas then we take it out in January and the t.v. new updates available, so I hit ok and it removed all the apps and won't let me add them back so now all we can use on the thing is the DVD player. Not happy about having to buy a new t.v.

In order to use the smart features of this TV, you would need to complete the guided setup. This includes connecting to the Internet via WiFi, creating a Roku account (completely free), and activating the TV (completely free). However, if you just want to use this TV as a traditional TV by connecting external devices through the various inputs and not use the smart features, you can elect to not connect this TV to the Internet at startup.
