The LTX is by far the best tires I have ever owned. My first set of LTX was bought used from A friend I worked with and when I bought the tires they had 50,000 miles on them and still looked new. I put another 100,000 miles on them!!! Thats right I got 150,000 miles out of one set of tires and they still have 1/4 inch deep tread and I'm still using them on and old project truck. The only reason I changed the tires was due to age and some weather cracks on side walls other wise I would still have them on the truck and I'm willing to bet I could get 200,000 miles out of them. Needless to say I purchased a new set of the LTX for the old truck also I brought a set of LTX for my full size van. I have a set of Michelin on my car and as soon as I save up enough money you can bet I will be buying a set of LTX for my other 4x4 truck!! For me the Michelin LTX has made a believer out of me to be the best truck or van tire you can buy!!! Since I have bought my Michelin Defender LTX M/S a month ago I have enjoyed a few benefits that other wise would have alluded me. first the ride is second to none. you don't realize this until you have new tires, gas mileage has increased and sure footed feel is the best! Thank you Michelin!

Have had these Michelins for about 2 years and they have performed very, very well. They ride smooth and quiet. They are wearing very well and still have a lot of tread on them. The wet weather grip is excellent, a big plus for me. A lot of tires may grip well in dry weather. The tire that grips well in wet conditions is the one I need, and the Michelins come through like the true winner they are when the conditions are nasty outside. The handling is very good too. I would definitely buy another set of these. I recommended them to my son and he put a set on his vehicle. He is very pleased with them as well. A great all around tire.

After driving on Michelin LTXs for the past 12 years I can honestly say that no other tire comes close in wear, durability, traction, comfort, and minimal road noise. One time, I switched to a competitor's tire because it was rated higher in braking and in wet traction. That competitor's tire was rated for 60,000 miles and at 25,000 miles they had to be replaced due to wear. I have consistently gotten 60,000 miles out of a set of Michelin LTX's with rotations and balancing every 6,000-9,000 miles. There is no other tire manufacturer making a tire that is comparable to the LTX in longevity. The only area the LTX is slightly weak would be in muddy conditions, although driving in muddy condition is not an everyday occurrence. I will continue to buy Michelin LTX tires "because so much is riding on my tires". Thank you for making a superior product.

I purchased the LTX M/S for my 2500 Dodge truck and was impressed by the smooth and quiet ride along with the fuel mileage I was getting. I also maintained the tires by rotating and proper air pressure regularly which enable me to achieve 108,000 miles before replacing them. I recommend these tires for all around performance, smooth ride and good mileage.

I do mechanical design work and I am an avid mountainbiker; as a result, I know the importance of product quality and functionality; espesially where the "rubber meets the road". Two things matter on my SUV: tires and battery. I have tried many different tires and nothing compares to these. Long tread life, dependable hold, and precise control. Put these on and you are set for years to come.

I bought 4-new Michelin LTX M/S tires when I replace original tires from my Ford F150 at 62,000 miles. Now my Ford truck has 162,000 miles and my Michelin tires still going strong! The tires have over100,000 milles!!!!!!!!!!! & looks like it will last another 100,000 miles. I'm in a constuction field and I drive my truck to work carrying lot of toool & constuction materials. The Michelin tires are the best tires I ever had and I highly recommend to everyone. The Simply the BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This LTX M/S tire is on my Explorer that is driven daily. I have had several vehicles without Michelin tires and other tires Do Not have the comfortable ride that the Michelin's do. The ride is smooth, quiet, and long lasting tread when tires are maintenance regularly,( inflation, rotation, ect. ) The only negative thing I can say is I wish I could get double the mileage out of the Michelin, as right now I am pushing well over 70,000 miles on this set of MTX M/S.

I have the mtx m/s and use them on my GMC 4/4. These tires will exceed treadlife specified. Mine have 60,000 on them and still some left butt will probably buy new ones before winter. Very good on wet roads without hydroplaning. They plow through snow and have never gotten hung up or skidded even during the ice storm. The only negative thought I have is they are a little above average in road noise butt not a problem. I just bought a set of defender series tires for my sons Accord. He likes his tires more than his girlfriend! He is hooked on Michelin tires just like me. I will never again buy any tire other than Michelin. Worth every penny!

We were on a cross country trip. The passenger car tires were not holding up to pulling a trailer. With a sense of urgency we purchased new tires. Had never purchased Michelins before as I thought they were over rated and over priced. The tires were the only thing in stock in my size so the purchase was made. Putting the LT tires on the van greatly reduced the side to side sway and increased overall stability and safety. Even with the trailer unhitched there was a marked improvement in handling. The van now has a bit harsher ride due to the LT tires. It is worth the truck like feel for better stability. Being light in the rear I had always had problems in rain and snow. Now my wife is not afraid to drive the van on wet roads and light snow. Rotating on a regular basis I was able to get 80,000 miles out of these tires. And yes they were replaced with the same tire.
