The moment I pulled out of the parking lot after getting them, it felt as though I had just bought my vehicle new again. Very quiet, and looks like it will be great in snowy conditions. I am sold on Michelin tires. Have owned them for years. Sad to say, this is my first review. I know it will not be my last. Thank You Michelin.

I just drove a couple thousand miles on my new Michelin Defenders. Some of the ride was on I-40, perhaps the worst interstate in the system. But the tires smoothed the ride as much as could be expected. I wish all the money from hiway taxes went into roads for cars instead of bike lanes and squirrel sanctuaries.

Purchased my 2016 F150 Lariat with what I thought were the best 275 55/R20 LTX M/S2 and only have 33k miles. Need Replace. Nice even wear, Rotated every 5K Miles, would Like to replace with same or equivalent (if and only If) I can pro rate. Please contact me ASAP Im Keeping this truck for many more years, I have reciepts of rotation but not filled out book pg 23-25 as Ford dealer Never Gave it to me. ;<{

I have a higher mileage 2011 Ford Expedition 155K. I've had all kinds of tires on this vehicle. I was at my local tire shop and they recommended these LTX Defender's. Been running them about 8000 mi now. To my surprise they were just great in the snow. Wet traction also excellent. This truck is not an AWD it is rear wheel drive, with a dash switch. So it tends to break loose in the wet. There was a HUGE improvement in wet traction with the LTX's. Braking also excellent. But what I really like is that these run so quiet. I drive most time with the window open and I think this is the quietest tire ever on this vehicle. As a side note one of the guys I ride motorcycle with owns a auto repair shop. Just so happened in discussion he mentioned he had put the same tire on his wife's truck and he thinks they are great tires.. The only thing we both didn't like is the price. They are not crazy expensive but probably $40+ more then a "Good Tire" from the competition.

These tires came as standard equipment on my 2004 Dodge Ram 1500. At 85,000 miles they needed to be replaced. The folks at the tire dealer thought I was crazy for putting such expensive tires on an older truck, but I told them that I planned to drive it until this set of tires wear out and I would be making money with the more expensive tire.

In rain the tire catches traction In stoping and take off as if it goes below the rain to stop or take off with a squeal as if it were on dry pavement. Haven't ever experienced another tire to do the job in wet conditions as if it were dry. I am 59 yrs. old and have never experienced another tire to do this. Other tire companys shouls want to learn this from you all!

We have had these tires for over 70,000 miles and they still have tread left. Over the last 10,000 miles or so I have noticed that they have gotten louder. Also, they now have a tendency to when pulling away from a stop sign or making a tight turn in a parking lot. These have always been excellent in the snow and good in the rain. Even though these tire were probably the most expensive tires I have purchased, the are by far the best I have ever had. They outlasted the stock tires on my Highlander 2WD by over 40,000 miles. They also had much better handling and traction than the stock tires. I plan on replacing these in the next month or so with a new set of these or the LTX MS/2

These tires are on our 2005 Class C motorhome. Although we don't put many miles on this vehicle, we have never had a problem with these tires. They are comfortable and give very good control and riding comfort. We had to drive during a period of severe winds and rain for about 5 hours, and we were amazed that we did not suffer any loss of directional stability or traction. Also, these tires appear to be resisting weather checking and any signs of aging. Tread wear is excellent.

I have driven 79,811 on a set of michelin LTX M/S tires with very even thread wear. I have noticed some sidewall cracks in all 4 tires and the traction is not so good on wet roads now due to thread wear. I guess it is time for a new set. I will buy the same tire again. JR

I use these on my 1999 Ford Conversion Van which I use to pull a 3,000 lb trailer. I got about 80.000 miles on the first set and 10.000 so far on the second. Never had a flat, love the traction, can't beat the tread-life. Can't imagine how they could be any better.
