I bought this item just over a year ago and was very pleased with the sound quality and ease of connection, so when I bought another TV this year for my vacation house I purchased another one. Great value and quality. Sound is crisp and clear even when the volume is elevated.

I bought the Vizio sound bar system about a month ago. Big difference in sound delivery. Feels as if your in a movie theater. Highly satisfied with this sound bar.

I had originally two setups. Samsung TV and a sound bar and Vizio TV and Sound Bar. The abilities Vizio has with Chromecast is really amazing. But what made me get a 2nd Vizio TV and Sound Bar setup for the bedroom was the app functions. I can turn off, turn on and raise and the volume from my phone. In a different room. Kids have tv too loud no need yell I simple lower the volume from my office. Great parental controls.

This system is perfect for our use. The only surprise was I thought the subwoofer was wireless. It is wireless but it still needs to be plugged in for power. So we are unable to place it next to the couch. Both sound bar and subwoofer are near the TV. Sound is still very good.

After a lot of time researching which Sound Bar System I should buy I decided to go with this one and WOW WOW WOW, I made the right choice. The sound is way louder than what I was expecting (way more). The Vizio SmartCast app allows you to control all of your settings (Woofer Base, Treble, name, SoundBar name, etc). It's just a wonderful toy to have. The SoundBar is easy to mount, it comes with a mounting plate that you can use as a guide. And yes it's Bluetooth enable so that you can play music via your phone, tablet or computer. It's just a piece or art !!!

Bought one of these for my mom last Xmas, sounds really good and has been solid. She now has a place in FL so bought her another one for the new house. Ordered online, shipped fast and all was well until installation. She couldn't get it to work at all. Powered on but that was it. Someone told her Vizio has great customer service so she called them. They were great and walked her through a number of things and determined the unit was defective. They shipped a new one quickly and that one has been working fine. So a little bump in the road, but it's good to know Sam's partners with companies who stand behind their products.

There is no real question about what is the best sound bar out there. It is Vizio but I am not sure about the ease of getting the sound bar installed or smart cast activated. It took me close to an hour just to get the smart cast to working. The smart cast is essentially an idea that Vizio has borrowed from SONOS but the main difference is of course that SONOS speakers are far better and getting them installed is childs play. I tried so many options to get the sound bar on the network that when it finally worked, I was not exactly sure what made it work. If you go through the effort of setting it up, you cannot beat the sound quality for the price though.

Sound is acceptable - not special, but certainly better than the TV puts out. There may, however, be a problem. It has happened at least 4x so far that the sound just cuts out as if someone muted it. It comes back on when we turn the system off and then back on again. Also, & this just seems to be part of the design, the start up time is a bit long.

Bought this to go with a brand new 55" Vizio TV and the Vizio TV controller is supposed to also turn on the sound bar when synced - it doesn't. I called Vizio technical support, was happy to get a real person and she had me go through all sorts of resets, syncs, etc. Over and over. Still wouldn't work. 2 Vizio products that don't talk to each other. She said since the sound bar actually works (produces sound from the tv) it wasn't covered under the warranty, sorry.

Love the sound bar and the subwoofer but the subwoofer sound is slightly distorted because of the imperfection or damaged spot on the bottom. I didn't know how I could exchange for another considering I bought it online. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
