First time put a BIG Smile on my face.

My entire entertainment center is Samsung in My Man Cave so updating the audio system to 5.1 was like the audio of the finally at 4th of July in the Bay in downtown of Tampa Bay ear shattering. So had to dial it back to a Roar...

Meh

Not a bad soundbar when it works properly. Subwoofer picks up wireless interference. This will only work in Q-Symphony if you have an equipped 2020 Samsung TV. May work in your home theatre but simply did not in mine.

Samsung sound bar

I have the bass all the way up and it is not quite up to par with other sound bars but since my wife is not real fond of the bass it works for us. I can finally watch movies without turning the volume up and down from speaking to sound effects.

Great Soundbar!!

The Samsung 5.1 Acoustic Beam Soundbar is perfect for the Samsung Big Screen TV. It sounds great and performs correctly. Much better than the Polk Audio Soundbar that was being used.

Meh

I have tried every setting possible and I do not get the surround sound feel as advertised by having the Acoustic beam. I don't notice any difference from the cheaper model 3 channel my brother has.

Amazed by the sound!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was blown away when I turned on this soundbar. I was not expecting such a power from this unit. Deep bass, clear highs and very loud! Perfect for music. The sounds are so clear that is also great for movies and gaming. Love the led display - you can clearly see the source, sound mode, volume and woofer level. Yes it has separate controls for the volume and the subwoofer - very nice feature if you want to put turn down the bass a little bit so that your house/walls don't rumble. The subwoofer is really powerful so you will need that option. Easy to connect with my samsung tv - using hdmi arc you can control the soundbar with your tv remote, but will miss some controls that come with the soundbar remote. Really easy to set up - I just put it to power and it automatically connected with the subwoofer and worked right away! Pairs with your phone right away using bluetooth. The brackets for wall mounting came in handy - I was able to DIY them to old soundbar mount (see pics). Overall very satsfied and definitely would recommend!.

Not compatible with smart devices

i definitely should have read the specs more carefully. this model was not compatible with any of my devices. the bluetooth wouldnt connect to my roku tv, fire tv, alexa, or even my samsung phone. after a week of frustration, i found the list of devices that are compatible to add to a smart home or other devices, this system is not one. we were able to connect to a tv through hdmi. the sound is great. heavy bass, which we liked. it would work well for someone not looking for smart technology.

Shannon, I am very sorry to see that you are having connection issues between the soundbar and TV. If you are connecting wirelessly via Bluetooth, please follow these steps: 1) Press the PAIR button on the remote to enter BT PAIRING mode - “BT” changes to “BT PAIRING” in a few seconds automatically or changes to “BT READY” if there is a connect record. - When “BT READY” appears, press and hold the (Mic On/Off) button on the top panel of the Soundbar for more than 5 seconds to display “BT PAIRING”. 2) Select Bluetooth mode on the Samsung TV: Home > Settings (gear button on remote) > Sound > Sound Output > Bluetooth Speaker List > [AV] Samsung Soundbar Q60T (Bluetooth)) 3) Select “[AV] Samsung Soundbar Q60T” from the list on TV’s screen. An available Soundbar is indicated with “Need Pairing” or “Paired” on the TV’s Bluetooth device list. To connect the Samsung TV to the Soundbar, select the message, and then establish a connection. - When the Samsung TV is connected, [TV Name] > “BT” appears on the Soundbar’s front display 4) After you have connected the Soundbar to your Samsung TV the first time, use the “BT READY” mode to reconnect. If you have an existing Soundbar (e.g., [AV] Samsung Soundbar Q60T) on the list of speakers on the Samsung TV, delete it. Then repeat steps 1 through 3. When a mobile device is connected using Bluetooth, you can hear stereo sound without the hassle of cabling. • When you connect a paired Bluetooth device with the Soundbar off, the Soundbar automatically turns on. • When connecting to a new Bluetooth device, make sure the device is within 3.28 ft (1 m) distance. 1. Press the PAIR button on the Soundbar remote control to enter the “BT PAIRING” mode. (OR) a. Press the (Source) button on the top panel and then select “BT”. “BT” changes to “BT PAIRING” in a few seconds automatically or changes to “BT READY” if there is a connect record. b. When “BT READY” appears, press and hold the (Source) button on the top panel of the Soundbar for more than 5 seconds to display “BT PAIRING”. 2. On your device, select “[AV] Samsung Soundbar Q60T” from the list that appears. • When the Soundbar is connected to the Mobile device, [Mobile Device Name] → “BT” appears in the front display. 3. Play music files from the device connected via Bluetooth through the Soundbar. • After you have connected the Soundbar to your mobile device the first time, use the “BT READY” mode to reconnect. • If you have an existing Soundbar (e.g., “[AV] Samsung Soundbar Q60T”) in the list of speakers on the Mobile device, delete it. • Repeat steps 1 and 2. Hi Mark, Thank you for purchasing the HW-Q60T Soundbar. I am sorry to hear that you experienced audio delays. I understand your disappointment and frustration. Your feedback is very important to us and will be shared with our product team. You mentioned that you have already tried some troubleshooting. You may want to try this tip: 1) Connect the source directly to the Soundbar’s HDMI input, then connect the Soundbar to the HDMI ARC input on the TV. 2) On the TV, set the Sound Delay level to 0. Home > Settings > Sound > Expert Settings > Digital Output Audio Delay: “0” 3) Change the audio format to PCM on both the source device and the TV. I hope this helps. If you should need further assistance, please contact Samsung Customer Support. 1-800-SAMSUNG, (available 8AM to 12AM EST - 7 days a week) Or visit us on the Samsung website and click on the ‘Support’ link in the upper right corner of the homepage for: 1) Contact Us Options (LiveChat, Remote Support, Facebook, Twitter) 2) Product Support 3) Manuals and Downloads 4) Warranty Info 5) Product Registration: Registering your product gives you access to easy warranty support, convenient opt-in to special promos and offers, faster troubleshooting and service, and quick notification of system updates 6) Samsung Community: A great resource for getting help from Samsung moderators and customers and more 7) …and more product, repair, order, and care options ~ Samsung Ambassador
