I have fond childhood memories of eating Pocky imported from Japan, before the "made for US" version was available. Compared to the original, this is sickeningly sweet / artificial tasting and the texture is off. If you want actual Pocky, go to an Asian grocery store and find the box with an English nutrition label sticker placed over the original Japanese - it'll cost twice as much, but it's worth it (made in Japan, not Thailand).

I ran into Sam’s to buy these last minute for a class. It says that they are in packs but not individual packs. I was thinking individual boxes once I opened them up. No it’s just plastic packs totally disappointing and the only ones that come in boxes for Christmas is the Christmas variety with all the disgusting flavors I really wish they made these in the solid boxes with individual packaging as well.

These were much more like pretzels than biscotti. The chocolate is bittersweet, which is not to my taste. But, the biggest disappointment was that the product was melted together. Each package contained 1 big fused stick that could not be divided without breaking. I am trying to think of a recipe that would have a crumbled topping so I do not waste them. Hard to do with the bitter chocolate.
