The panels contain structural plastic partions rather than being a smooth surface on the insides which I did not realize. I was hoping for self raising hydrolic type hinges for the lid and instead there are 2 thin pieces of plastic string that I'm sure won't last, although the lid is not heavy at all. There are no tools required for assembly but I didn't find it very easy to put together. I'm using it on a screen porch to store items I don't want wet...i.e. charcoal, cushions, other cloth items and I'm not sure yet about moisture resistance on the interior as I plan on leaving it out all year.

This box was so easy to put together and larger than I thought. Holds all my cushions and then some. Great for storing the grandchildren's outdoor toys too. We have had a few days of rains and the box has stayed dry. Makes for great extra seating when needed. Wished I had bought one sooner

Our Suncast deck box was easy to assemble, is sturdy, and keeps its contents dry. With plenty of room for bench pillows, a hammock, chair covers and more, what's not to like? The small shelf is a nice extra. And here's one the designers never anticipated: at our recent weekend BBQ, a friend commented that it made a perfect changing station for her baby.

I thought it was easy enough to put together but the directions were a little confusing. When we received the deck box the lid was warped, the back had slits in it and the tray was broken. It looked like forks went into the box at the warehouse. I called the company and explained the condition of the box. Within 3 days they sent us a new lid and a new tray. They also told me if I wanted they would replace the entire box. The slits in the back do not hurt the box and everything stays dry inside. I was very pleased with the service department at Suncast and the representative was very pleasant and helpful. Thank you Suncast.

I purchased the deck box for $129 and before it reached the store for pickup it had rolled back to $99. I called customer service at walmart.com and they gave me a price reduction. I was very happy with this. This item is a wonderful addition to our back porch. The storage space is very very spacious. The box seems to be sturdy although we haven't loaded it down with adults yet. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a large storage bench! The bench is a little high off the floor in my opinion for seating, but that's not really a problem. The narrow tray that comes with it for storage is great for little items that you don't want lost among the larger things in the bottom. I recommend this item!

This is a great deck box.....very large and can accommodate large items. It looks great on our deck and also provides extra seating.

Size is excellent for what I needed, but it was a bit more flimsy that I excepted. Other than that, it serves my purpose very well.

Very easy to assemble. Looks exactly like the photo. Roomy. Good size if you have a small yard. Has not leaked.

Product is somewhat acceptable for price, but lacks in quality. The top does not seat/seal properly with the ends or the front of the box.

very strong and could hold all my cushions. you could sit on it comfortably and is very nice looking compliment my garden just love it
