--This is a very cute pool, and its the perfect size for my 1.5 and 3yr old boys. The 3year old loves the slide as well. Its a great depth, about mid calf on the 3yr old and almost knee deep on the 1.5yr old. They can sit in it without it being too deep, but plenty of water to splash and play with toys in it.
--It does not come with a pump, as several reviews have mentioned. However, I used a regular air mattress pump. It handled the volume perfectly well. The air pump pitting fit inside the large valves for the pool sides and the slide. It did not fit inside the smaller valves for the posts/trees and the landing pad in the bottom of the pool. But i was able to hold it against it to get it to inflate.
--The valves are very nice with the safety back flow parts so the air cant escape before you cap it.
--Unlike some cheap inflatable pools, this one does not need the water to help hold up the sides or keep its shape. I was able to keep only a couple inches in the pool until it had time to warm up some in sun before filling it even more.
--The slide can be removed if you want more pool space. It is held in place by little ropes to tie it to anchors in the side of the pool.
--It has a small drain hole in the corner under the slide. It takes forever to drain this way, but you can let out enough water until you can pick it up to dump out the rest.
Cons:
--The safety landing pad at the bottom of the slide will not hold air on my pool. It must have a leak. And, the big bulky air valve for that section sticks up awkwardly off the bottom of the pool and is a trip hazard. I feel like its extra noticeable since the pad isnt inflated.
--When I hooked up the hose to the sprinkler in the arch above the pool, the weight of the water caused the trees/posts to start leaning over. I was able to fix this a little with more air in the posts, but it still leans some. Also, the hose water pressure has to barely be on or else it sprays out really hard and stings. If you turn the water pressure down, the water only comes out on the side closest to the water hose. So we dont use the sprinkler.
--Every couple of days i have to bring out the air pump to top off the trees, the slide, and sometime the pool sides. Im hoping this is because its new and its stretching some, and also because its still getting cool at night, and the changing temperatures could cause it to deflate. Hopefully once its done stretching and the temperature fluctuations level out i wont have top off the air as much.
