We had owned one of the Original Tempur-pedic mattresses for over 15 years. As aging kept creeping up, we could no longer handle the firmness of that mattress. It was like sleeping on a slab of concrete. Our hip joints hurt and we thought we were destined for the old folks home! This mattress has made all the difference. It has a firmness to it yet a very comfortable top. It solved all our problems and we are loving the support coupled with a comfy top.

I am an injured Army veteran and suffer daily from pains (many years of therapy!) I have recently purchased my second Tempur-Pedic (King) after owning my first (Queen - which I still have as a guest bed) for several years! I have had so many problems with SO MANY OTHER BEDS! Sleeping on conventional beds caused more pain than rest. Tempur-Pedic helps me get the rest I need!

I've owned my Flex Elite for over a year now. I can feel total support even though my mattress is soft. I'm a side sleeper but I no longer have shoulder pressure. I use to have neck pain but that's a thing from the past for me now. my only regret is not making my purchase sooner. I love this investment I've made in my health. I highly recommend this product :-)

I purchased the mattress in 2018, in 2023 little balls of compressed foam started coming up through the holes. I imagine the holes were punched in and making the mattress and the byproduct was left in there. Upon sleeping on it they work their way up, causing hard lumps in the mattress. I found the bed comfortable until this problem arises. For the price of the mattress I felt it should've lasted longer than five years.

It's that just right in between that my partner and I were looking for. We've had the bed three years now, and it's still perfect. No sagging at all. I definitely recommend it.

My husband and I used to sleep on a firm mattress. We added a 4 inch memory foam topper and it lasted us a while longer. However, I am a side sleeper and my fingers were starting to go numb during the night. Also, my hips and shoulders were starting to ache. Our bodies told us it was time to get a new mattress! We decided to give Tempur-Pedic a try for the first time and we are so glad we did! My fingers no longer go numb and my hips don't hurt. My shoulder pain is still slightly there, however, it is greatly relieved! We went with the adjustable base because my husband has terrible heart burn, reflux and snoring. On spaghetti nights, he has his head tilted and is actually able to sleep better without having reflux all night. When he is snoring and won't stop, I get his remote and raise the head of his bed. It may take a few times to get the right height, but he stops!!!!! We love our Tempur-Pedic Flex Elite and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a better, more restful sleep! The only thing I would say is a negative is that,when you use the mattress protector, the mattress feels much firmer than without it. The protector does have stretch to it, however, for some reason it is still firmer feeling.

I thought I was getting the best mattress being a TempurPedic. It is the worst mattress I've ever had and so disappointed that I was unable to get them to honor the warranty. I had to buy a 4 inch foam topper in order to get pressure relief on hips and shoulders. This mattress is max FIRM. It seemed comfortable in the store but the new one delivered was very hard. I was told to give it time and jump on it in order to break it in. Until it was no longer able to be returned. I couldn't believe that a TempurPedic would be so uncomfortable. My warranty request was denied because it doesn't cover "comfort", but that is what they sell it for, Comfort! Beyond comfort, it made red marks on my hips and shoulders, I tossed and turned and took advil. Finally I had to admit it was my expensive TempurPedic mattress. I'm 140lbs and 5"8" so not overweight as I thought maybe you need to carry more weight to find pressure relief. They assured me that shouldn't make a difference. So bought a new different brand mattress and would not recommend TempurPedic. They do not stand by the comfort or pressure relief guarantee. Make sure if you buy one that you return in within the time allowed and do not accept the idea that you have to "break it in". Good luck

I was really hesitant about spending such a large amount on a mattress and essentially buying into what I thought was just a bunch of hype. I have to say though that this mattress has been wonderful to sleep on. Experiencing less joint pain, more restful and undisturbed sleep makes the hype pretty valid in my eyes. Of course the biggest complaint is the price which I don't think I'll ever get over.

My girlfriend and I have had this mattress for a few months now and we are sleeping even worse than we were with a 10 year old regular mattress. After hearing all the great reviews about tempurpedic beds and going to different stores and testing them out we decided to save up for one. We decided to purchase the mattress through a retailer because we were buying other furniture from them as well. After a few weeks of sleeping on our new mattress we weren't very impressed. We thought maybe we would give it a little more time and nothing. After calling the retailer we purchased the mattress from and finding out they don't have any satisfaction guarantee's we were EXTREMELY disappointed. Then checking into Tempurpedics policy...we got no where with that as well because we didn't buy the mattress directly from them. So here we are now sleeping horribly on a bed that costed us A LOT of money! Definitely not happy and will never buy another Tempurpedic bed again!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Getting a good night's sleep is not only important to me, it's critical. First of all, I get up at 3:30AM for work. So it's necessary for me to get to bed no later than 8PM, or earlier if possible. It's not always easy to fall asleep that early in the evening and having an incredibly comfortable but firm mattress like this one facilitates being able to doze off more quickly. As if that isn't enough, I also have sleep apnea that requires the use of a CPAP machine in order to get a restful night's sleep. That's just not going to happen unless I have just the right mattress. Since purchasing the TEMPUR-Flex Elite, I not only sleep through the night comfortably, but wake up feeling thoroughly refreshed and rejuvenated, ready to take on the day. I'm beyond thrilled with this mattress and give it my highest recommendation!
