[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not what I expected. This mattress is horrible, to begin the smell is unbearable! Once that dissipated the comfort of the mattress is non existent. Seriously you will get better sleep on the floor. For over 5k I figured at least it would be OK but I was wrong. Sinking to the point that you are trapped, waking up with numb achy muscles all over body even my glutes. I mean it must be some kind of joke. My husband agrees. And oh yeah, it sleeps very hot. Needless to say we returned our mattress.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had the original Tempur-pedic for almost 20 years, but I wanted something softer for shoulder pain (side sleeper). We went to a soft, less expensive department store brand (how different can they be?), but within a couple of years, my wife and I woke in pain every day. We went back to Tempur-pedic and found the LuxeAdapt model. We chose firm (wife's preference) but the luxe top was still soft enough for me. We noticed the difference immediately: we both sleep in comfort and wake without pain!

Our last mattress was also Tempur-Pedic, and we had it for nearly 16 years! After having that kind of longevity, we didnt want to risk switching to another brand. The Luxe Adapt is absolutely incredible, and the best mattress I have ever slept on. I was beginning to have back pain and hip pain- likely because our old mattress had long past it's prime- and noticed an immediate difference once we got the Luxe Adapt. We also bought the ergo power base, which also fit inside our wooden bed frame with no issues at all. We also own a few sleep number beds in the house, and hands-down I reccomend buying the Luxe Adapt over them any day of the week.

This is our second. The first was good foe 15 years before human sized body divots drove us mad. Four years in a knock of and we are back. There was no adjustment period. It was perfect from the first night. This one is not as good at absorbing your partner's movements but it's a small price to pay for a good night's sleep.

I haa add be been wanting to own a Temper Pedic forever, always compromising and regretting the compromises after months and years of other beds. For the first time I can say, this is the best bed I've ever had or slept in. I can sleep on my side now without any shoulder problems. Although this bed classified as soft, it is not soft. On my side I sink down to the correct spot and sleep well. My Chiropractor will not appreciate this purchase since my back issues have now been resolved. I did not like the off gassing or the smell for almost two weeks. Has this off gassing been studied? I sure hope it's not a carcinogen. 4 Stars for the best bed ever! -1 Star for the off-gassing! Purchased this product because of reviews, Seems to be great quality however mattress is anything but firm. I sink when I sit on this mattress, not back supporting at all as described. The base is GREAT quiet & no problem at all, mattress I can't say the same about.

This is the most wonderful and comfortable mattress I have ever slept on. It is perfect. I have always had back issues but with a recent injury I was waking every hour in pain. I actually sleep and it is amazing. I was worried soft would be too soft but firm hurts. This is soft in that there are no pressure points. It absolutely supports me with comfort. I highly recommend it and am so happy I didn't just buy something online without trying it.

Love, love, love this mattress. I tried a few others first hoping to find something cheaper, but nothing compares to this. I was having significant shoulder pain that was waking me up all hours of the night bc I sleep on my side. This mattress was the only one I tried that relieved the pain and let me sleep. I don't even have shoulder pain at all anymore. I would recommend this brand over all others. Don't waste your time with other companies. Your body will thank you.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I cannot say this enough, this bed is magic. We had tried bed in a box, all memory foam, hybrid, you name it. When we laid on this bed it felt so right. We have had it for almost a month now and it is the best sleep I have gotten in years. We got the soft, and when it arrived it was pretty firm, but it has worked itself out with use. Love our bed and will definitely be getting another when this one becomes unusable

I am pregnant and due on the 21st with my second baby; I really struggled with falling and staying asleep until I ordered this bed. 10/10 recommend, my only regret is not ordering it sooner.
