My travel van never smelled as good as with the fresh bread and cakes I make with my new mixer...Entertained new friends at the campground and it was a hit...No ore wasted breads and fresh daily, for my family...Amazingly powerful for a little guy...And compact to boot...Cleaning is a breeze...Every baker should own one, for it's versatility and portability...Great size for kids too...Culinary school students in dorms would love one, too...Anybody need a gift idea?...LOL

Bought this because I love to bake......nope, unless you're making something so small you could do it with a fork this thing is garbage (threw it out in the yard last night) I was making 12 dinner rolls, you have to "feed" what's in the bowl to the beaters/hooks, the bowl just sits and spins and mixes only what's right there and over works the dough there while the dough 1 inch from the hooks doesn't even get touched. (very soft sticky dough, not thick at all) unless you're beating eggs for a omelette pass this piece of trash up. It failed on cookie dough, bread, dinner rolls, and pasta dough.

The retro design reminds me of another wayyyy more expensive brand and I would proudly display this on my counter. 2. It’s a good blend of affordable quality. The blend of metal and plastic parts means it’s lightweight. It’s small which means one batch of chocolate chip cookies fills up the bowl. This is an affordable, hobby mixer perfect for smaller families, hobby bakers, or college students. 3. It’s got great power. In terms of mixing, it does everything you need it to. I found it easier to pause occasionally and scoop sugar that needed to be blended in towards the beaters with a rubber spatula. You can move the bowl back and forth to get different angles which is a nice feature. 4. It’s not overly loud. In summary, this is great for anyone living in a smaller space or for hobby bakers. I’m very satisfied!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was quite surprised that the mixer is compact yet has a more powerful motor than other models. The Everyday Stand Mixer mixes dough and whips cream quickly and evenly, is easy to use and clean, making it perfect for a home kitchen.

I wish I had known you could only run the motor for three minutes at a time. To be fair, the first thing I tried it for was making mashed potatoes. I cut them in about 1" cubes. Maybe if I had cut them smaller, it would have worked better. The turntable did not spin until the potatoes were partially mashed, and I ended up overworking them. They still had good-sized lumps. One beater goes on the left and one on the right, but I couldn't find any markings to tell me which was which. You can only fill the bowl 2/3 full of the maximum capacity. It's pretty and it has a small footprint and if I figure out that these issues are something I'm doing wrong, I will post that. So far, not impressed. I bought the mixer specifically to make mashed potatoes, so that was disappointing. Live and learn.

Bought this mixer for making baked goods. Mixed wet cookie dough fairly well. Mixed my cupcake dough well too....but when it came time to make the frosting that was a no go. It wouldn't mix well at all and stripped the beaters out almost instantly. I would have thought that something that came with bread hooks would have been able to make a powdered sugar frosting. I was very disappointed, but I guess you get what you pay for. If you are only mixing egg whites, cake batter, or maybe mashed potatoes it would be fine. But, don't try mixing anything that has the least bit of resistance...even on high!

This mixer works great. Love the color. Looks great next to my Retro red microwave. Use it about 3 times a week with no problems. Great price. And if it does break I'll will buy another one. But it does the job for me like making cakes, cookies, brownies ect. Love it. Thanks Walmart.

The bowl does go around and the beaters spin. Really wish the description had included the fact you can't run it for more than 3 minutes. It's a stand mixer, it's supposed to continue working while you add more ingredients. Of course the packaging went to recycling before I actually used it. So it's mine until I have a yard sale. I have several other Dash items that work fine so I didn't expect any issues. Very disappointed in this product.

The rotating bowl is so amazing because it ensures everything gets mixed together. It’s not super loud and it came with a little recipe book which I made the coffee cake recipe with. Very easy to clean. Only downfall is with the bowl being smaller than average you might not be able to make a regular cookie recipe because I don’t think it would all fit.
