small for small batches

plastic... small... i do scrap the side when making dough and cake.. making dough the largest batch i made is like 8 cups of flours and of course the liquids, but too large so i cut it in half and perfect!! this does a great job actually... for kneading manually everything sticks in my hand, so it doesn't bother me even if i scrap the side while working, its better that doing the kneading myself, make sure to just use the lowest speed when kneading... for those who have high standards on stuff pls buy the expensive mixer... this one is lightweight, has suction on the bottom, but sometime it still moves,.. and make sure to clean it roughly lol, or you will see rust on your attachment, for $29 bucks don't expect too much.. this one still does a great job maybe for small families like ours :) hope this help :)

Kool lookin mixer

This mixer works great. Love the color. Looks great next to my Retro red microwave. Use it about 3 times a week with no problems. Great price. And if it does break I'll will buy another one. But it does the job for me like making cakes, cookies, brownies ect. Love it. Thanks Walmart.

suprised

bought this maybe 4-5 months ago just to see if I would like a stand mixer. I did write a review that was 5 stars.....now im back to purchase a new mixer. making cookie dough the other day and the beaters started hitting each other and then locked up. I thought they were bent but they have already burned up the gears.....my husband said the motor is still good but the gears? that hold the beaters are stripped. so in the garbage it goes...I did get 4 months use out of it but I only used maybe 6-7 times....so im back to purchase a stand mixer that is quality. I know for sure that this style of mixer is what I need. I do like the bowl so not a total loss.

I'm not sure, I'm puzzled.

This stand mixer was purchased for the price. I thought sure why not I'll give it a try. Pro's- it's easy to use, it's cute, it does rotate on it's own, it isn't very loud, it is easy to clean up. Cons- it does not get to the bottom of the mixing bowl, it came with zero instructions, it is so light that I'm afraid to use high speed, it is not for the seasoned cook. But the good thing is that it is cheap enough and can easily make cake mixes and light cookie recipes, light dough recipes, waffle and pancake batters, etc. I am puzzled as to why some people give fantastic reviews, when the product clearly isn't that great. I would recommend it to some of my friends, but only to suggest to make pre-boxed mixes in it. One thing that really is great about this little mixer is that it has a bowl switch on it so you can move the bowl over to add more product if needed without stopping the mixer.

Love my 1st and new mixer!

I have been wanting a mixer for quite some time now and I finally bought one. Instead of spending $200 plus on a Kitchen Aid, I decided to give this one a shot first, and I'm glad I did! It saved me a lot of $$$. I used it for the first time yesterday to make peanut butter cookies and it worked amazing! Can't wait to look up recipes that require the use of a mixer.

Blender

I bought this for my 12-year-old daughter and it is perfect for a child. She wanted to KitchenAid but I wasn't in a spend that much! It does work but the speed is very fast no matter what setting you put it on and it is of cheap quality. Works though to make a beginners cake or cookies.

So Bad it's hard to put into words!!!!

Bought this because I love to bake......nope, unless you're making something so small you could do it with a fork this thing is garbage (threw it out in the yard last night) I was making 12 dinner rolls, you have to "feed" what's in the bowl to the beaters/hooks, the bowl just sits and spins and mixes only what's right there and over works the dough there while the dough 1 inch from the hooks doesn't even get touched. (very soft sticky dough, not thick at all) unless you're beating eggs for a omelette pass this piece of trash up. It failed on cookie dough, bread, dinner rolls, and pasta dough.

Great mixer for the price

I had a Hamilton Beach stand mixer that I lost while moving. I found this one online and picked it up so I could have one for the holidays and this mixer is really nice. I can put my ingredients in and walk away. Very powerful too. I've only used it on anything higher than 1 once since 1 works just fine.

Cute but useless

This mixer is very cute and small, but it really is only cute to look at! I used it to make cake batter in and ended up taking the bowl and finishing mixing the batter with my hand mixer. The bowl turned at first and then stopped and does not turn anymore. I have only used it ONCE!! I did not expect this mixer to be a big professional type such as a kitchen aide stand mixer, however I was hoping it would at least work as it said it would! I will from now on stick with my kitchen aide hand mixer, it may not be as convenient as a stand mixer, but at least it is reliable! This mixer is just a cute useless accessory on my counter!
