This may not be a big deal to some, but these are no longer petite carrots. I prefer petite, because I don't like the thickness of baby carrots, but, over the past few years, these have gotten considerably thicker. What really confirmed it for me, was I purchased petites from a regular grocery store when I couldn't make it to Sam's, and the difference was noticeable.

Make sure to drain all the water out of the bag when you get these. If you don't, that water will get nasty and spoil the carrots. They last about a month in the fridge if the water is drained right away, probably even longer if transferred to a sealed container. They only last 7-10 days if the water isn't drained.

I don't know if I got an outdated bag or not, but these carrots were pretty awful. I ended up throwing them away.
