I love it, it reminds me of when I was a kid, playing it for the first time. It took me 4 or 5 days to beat.

Game is hard. Like really hard. But for a fan of Donkey Kong this is a worth it purchase for those who have never played the wii version or 3ds one.

Rage-inducing fun.

great HD remake of the game. my kids love it. also enjoying playing a bit of a challenging game myself instead of the newer easier games

A Wii classic finally on switch

Being honest, the game itself is cool but not what I thought it would be. I thought it was going to be the original version from Super Nintendo. So that’s why I rated it as a one. Everything else is a five. I wish they actually keep the original idea and just change the graphics. It would be so cool to actually have a game that is nostalgic.

The game at first was a poor port of Donkey Kong Country Returns for the Wii, using the 3DS version as a base. But future updates improved upon it tremendously. It is now the definitive version of the game, especially if played on a Nintendo Switch 2.
