This product is super cute! I love all the accessories that it comes with. Also the directions are very easy to follow. The packaging is perfect because it seperates the pieces by reindeer for easy assembly.

Absolutely beautiful my husband said they even looked better coming down the drive then they do in the store a little assembly nothing to crazy I would do it outside because it does have glitter on it

This set is quite a challenge to assemble, but once together, it looks great. I bought this last year, and it worked flawlessly. They were store fully assembled and worked great after placing them out again this year. After a couple of weeks, the doe's head lights started to turn off and on when the head moved. Another day, and they don't light at all on the doe's head. I found the issue to be a wire that had broken near where the head rotates on the neck. The head is not easy to remove to allow access to the wire that needed repair. I had to disassemble the shaft from the motor that the head is attached to and push the shaft up a few inches to get access. I used a razor to cut the insulation back on the bulb that the broken wire was attached to. I then soldered the wire back together and sealed it back up with a piece of heat-shrink tubing. I reassembled the head's shaft to the motor, and it works fine again. We'll see if these last another year.

Love these BUT we live in a climate that can see bitter cold and when the wind chill hit -25 the lights in the male deer head went out. After inspection we saw that two wires were snapped from the movement in the neck. We were able to use wire connectors to get it working again but this is a flaw that should be fixed by adding more slack to the lights in that area. If you have the skills to fix this then these are a great purchase.

really wanted to like them but had same issues as other reviewers. look beautiful but after 4 days out, the lights in the bucks head no longer worked and the doe head sometimes would not work. i was able to get the doe to move by "assisting" it in starting by moving manually each time, but i should not have to do that. could not get buck head to light up again. had to return them

Lights went out on the Doe after about 10 days. the LEDs cannot be replaced. I tried contacting the number listed in the manual for replacement, but it says that the call could not be connected. I asked customer service and they said all I can do is return it because they don't have it in stock anymore.

Pros: Great looking Christmas decor! Better appearance at a lower price than similar, unanimated, items. Overall, pros outweigh cons below. Cons: 1.) Very messy; do not assemble inside your house, it will look like a stripper exploded. 2.) The wires connecting the lights are thin and break easily. This shouldn't be a problem, but.. 3.) The stakes that secure the deer to the ground are flimsy, essentially a U-shaped coat hanger. A strong breeze pulls them out of the ground, topples the deer, and snaps the tiny gauge wire. Save yourself a repair job, and use your own, heavier stakes.

It's really a shame that there are so many problems with this set. We would love for it to work properly and keep it because, when working, they really are beautiful. Unfortunately, there were not many reviews on this item when I purchased it back in mid-November. This was bought as a Christmas gift for family, and luckily, we decided to give it to them early so they could enjoy it this season. Unfortunately, it was only a matter of 2 weeks before the lights went out on the head of the buck... exactly what I'm seeing in these more recent reviews. Now we'll have to go through the trouble to drive an hour to our son's house and disassemble and box them back up and then drive another hour to the Sam's club they were purchased from to return them. I definitely would not recommend this Member's Mark Pre-Lit Animated Deer Family set to anyone. It's been a huge waste of money and time.

I am giving this 5 stars as we have been very happy with the set. I really wanted a deer family that lights up and has motion, so this set was exactly what I was looking for. They are beautiful both during the day and night. My 2 year old son really loves them too! I received many compliments. I found them pretty easy to assemble. I setup the buck first and then the other two were even easier since it's the same process. There are a few items to be mindful of however. They are very glittery. I made the mistake of setting them up inside and it took a while to get the glitter off the floor. Set them up outside if at all possible. Or if you have to do it inside, put something down. It was a struggle to put the stakes into the ground. I eventually got them all in, but they bend easily and are not very durable for continued use every year. I will likely buy better stakes to use next year. I never had an issue with them coming out of the ground though. Lastly, the buck's head turned completely around several times when it was windy. Probably due to the antlers pulling it around. It's very easy to just rotate the head back around.

I didn't buy the one with moving heads but the ones without just regular lights no movement. Called to get replacement lights and was told they no longer have them in stock bc they stopped making them. I bought this one year ago!! They sell the moving ones with the same lights! RIDICULOUS! Terrible customer care! Don't waste your money. It's a shined up dookie.
