I bought the LuxeAdapt Soft in January and I love this bed! I needed something that was soft enough but supportive. This mattress meets my sleep needs and is so comfortable! I am a side sleeper and sometimes fall asleep on my back and the foam is soft enough for side sleeping and supportive enough for when I sleep on my back. My previous mattress was caving in after less than 2 years of use and wasn't soft enough for side sleeping which left me with neck pain in the morning. There was a break-in period that wasn't too bad and it may have taken a little longer to feel like it did in the store because I am the only one sleeping on the bed and I weigh under 150 lbs so I wanted to wait until the bed was fully broken in to review it. Now that I don't have any pain from sleeping and can spend a full 8 hours in bed I truly love it. It is also a good bed for people who don't find themselves feeling hot at night. I would have gone with the LuxeBreeze but I did not need the extra cooling. All in all, I wouldn't trade this mattress for another!

My back is better from sleeping on a new bed. I wish it came in extra firm. I don't like the cool tech fabric or the sinking into the mattress. I tend to be cold and never warm up. Electric blankets aren't allowed on tempur pedic. I wish they offered a warmer zip on cover. Considering returning since I am cold and would prefer more firm. The mattress is well made.

Obviously, the bed is not going to start off as soft as it is in the store. However, we were assured it would only take around 30 days before we would feel a noticable difference, and faster if we walked on the mattress to break it in. Well, I've put in what feels like miles on this mattress and we're closing in on 30 days, and this mattress is still hard as a rock. If we don't feel improvement soon, it's going back.

We've had the mattress almost 6-7 weeks now and regret our purchase. We have not had a good night's rest since it arrived. We were prepared for a break-in period but that came with severe neck, shoulder and back pain. As the bed became softer around week 4 - the pain got increasingly worse. We wake up several times throughout the night because we are overheated and no sleeping position is comfortable. We've bought at least 7 pillows because the reps at the store indicated that was the issue. It is cool to the touch but retains heat under your body which is really uncomfortable. We are both in our late 30's and wake up with almost every bone cracking and aching - feeling and sounding like a 90-year old. I cannot believe this bed is so expensive and highly rated. I called to initiate the return which is a 3-step process: you call the number, someone eventually calls you back and then you have to wait 2 weeks for someone else to call to schedule the pick up the mattress. Words cannot describe how outraged and disappointed we are.

We think the quality of Tempur mattresses are excellent. We had a Tempur in France for many years. So we were familiar with your product and wanted another. However, we think that it is a bit harder than we thought. It took 3 weeks to be acceptable and a bit softer. I personally have back issues and am not sure this is the correct firmness for me.

We upgraded from a queen tempurpedic cloud luxe that we owned for 7 years to the lux adapt soft in King. I'm not sure I can tell the difference with the adapt feature although it must be working because our room is always freezing yet our bed is never too firm and uncomfortable. I have had the bed for about a month now and I am very comfortable (even at 6 months pregnant). Great bed! I also have to say our old bed still works great and is now being used by our 4 year old. We expect many more years of enjoyment out of both mattresses.

I feel like I'm sleeping on air! I have fibromyalgia, hip problems and severe back problems since I bought this bed I have had a significant reduction in pain from head to toe! I still have stiffness issues but the back and hip pain have been dramatically improved. I sleep so much better!!

The feel of the mattress is great for sleeping. Getting into the bed can feel like a bit of a safety issue because of the "no edge" feel to the mattress. As we are older, the squishy edge can put you a little off balance as you try to go from sitting to lying down and scooting over to sleeping position.

This is the third rendition of the Tempur-Pedic products we have owned and I love this mattress! I am always cold and needed several covers to be warm but this bed keeps me at a moderate sleep temperature and I need fewer covers. My husband has the Cool Breeze as he is a hot sleeper. We are most satisfied with our sleep system now.

We made quite a few visits to Tempurpedic showrooms. I wanted a firm bed but this model feels softer than expected. It is called a "firm" but the Luxe Adapt has an extra layer on the top of the bed which makes it feel softer to me. When shopping for the mattress, I liked the feel of the Pro Adapt Firm. It does not have the extra layer on top and it costs less. Salespeople suggested the Pro Adapt Firm would be too firm for a side sleeper giving pressure to shoulders, hips and knees. So, I was swayed a bit by the salespeople and bought the Luxe Adapt. It's a good bed and we get a decent nights sleep. But, it just feels too soft. By the way, the delivery, installation and take of the old mattress was perfect.
