I am utterly obsessed with my mattress. It is VERY soft - like, once you're in it you ain't leaving. But if I am stressed out, literally laying on this bed helps relieve all my tension! My husband has also stopped cracking his neck constantly and honestly the world is a better place because of that! *I was gifted this mattress in exchange for my honest review. I have osteoarthritist (degenerative disk desease) in my neck and back. I have severe ddd between L5 and S1. This mattress was recommended to me by the salesman and many reviews on-line. Since there was a 90 day try-out period (with a $299 return fee) I opted for this mattress with the upgraded ergo base. Pros: Between the mattress and the adjustable base, I can say that this has truly helped, No more tossing and turning all night. I found my "sweet spot" to adjust the base and progammed the remote so I can just push the button and I'm there. Cons: I have a bit of a hard time getting out of the mattress. I have to roll out rather than push myself off. But the trade off is well worth it. Summary: So far so good. I am a horrible sleeper. I start on my back and then on my side and would toss and turn all night long. This bed combination has really reduced all that. I gave it 4 stars because I have not had it that long. But I could see it being a 5 star bed. I wrote this review hoping it can help someone else with back problems.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our 15 year old grandson tried the firm mattress when he was visiting. He said it was too firm without a foam topper on it. It is a bit firm for me but is very good quality. My husband said it is a bit firm, but his back felt good and he slept well. He wishes it would conform to the shape of the body a little more. He also would like it to be not so thick because he does activities sitting on the bed and the mattress is higher off the floor than he would like. I am a youngish person with years of back pain, mostly worsened by sleeping. I would only be able to sleep on my back with pillows under my knees for years. Had a very old original tempurpedic that worked miracles but after 10 years was wearing on my back. I replaced it with an organic high end latex mattress of moderate firmness and was disappointed immediately. After such a big purchase, it took years for me to start looking again for a bed that relieved my back and now shoulder and knee pain. Fast forward to having tried 2 different Tempurpedic beds that were not good for my back, the tempur flex prima in medium and one i can't remember the name of...Both were trrible for my back and Tempurpedic gave me one more try. Well after much deliberation between the Pro-Adapt Firm and the more expensive Luxe-Adapt Firm, I went with the mattress that felt most like my old original Tempurpedic- the Luxe Adapt Firm and I could not be happier. I have had the bed since Jan 2019 and I can finally say, no back, shoulder or knee pain since then. The bed cushions where I need it and it is not too firm for my frame which is slight-5"9" and 125 lbs. I worry that it will become too soft but that has not happened yet. I really love my bed and now never wake up in the middle of the night in pain because of my mattress. It is expensive, but when you spend almost 25% of a day in bed then the cost is justified. I am very happy with this purchase and have no complaints except that it is a bit difficult to move around because of the mattresses conforming ability, however, I don't need to constantly move because nothing hurts so for me this is not an issue

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mattress provides excellent support and comfort. I am able to adjust the positioning to suit my needs. The light provided is excellent for seeing in the middle of the night, but not keeping me awake. The ease of which it works and the quietness when adjusting is perfect.

I guess I did not realize how much I needed a new mattress, and most of all: I never dreamed I would buy a foam matress. This mattress is so comfortable, and I was told it may take a while to break it in. There was no breaking in ever with the Tempur-pedic Luxadapt SOFT. My insomnia went away and I now sleep later. It was expensive, but worth the investment. The only con is that you do not want to sleep right on the edge, as your body sinks down on the foam and you could slide out of bed. Just move over some. No big deal. Also, the ease makes a big difference too. If I lift my legs up a small amount, it gently pushes my lower back into the mattress, and that gives me great back relief while sleeping and when I wake up.

We had enjoyed a tempur pedic for 14 years and were so impressed with the comfort that we talked everyone with whom we visited to take a look at Tempur Pedic! We felt it was worth every penny. We thought it was time to replace the old one and purchased the Luxe Adapt Mattress and Sleeptrack base. It has been a horrible adjustment and we actually are thinking of looking at other mattresses. So sad we invested in the Tempur Pedic. I don't know if we were sold the wrong mattress or if it's been "upgraded". We got a firm, but you sink in so much when you're sleeping that it's difficult to roll over. They made a wonderful mattress I don't know why they changed it.

This mattress is amazing. I owned my previous Tempur-pedic for 15 years and while it was firm it was time for a new mattress. Our new one is even better than the first. It is firm but conforms to you so you feel like you are sleeping in the clouds. My biggest complaint is it has a STRONG chemical smell. It's been a month and the smell is just starting to dissipate. I even kept the windows open with the fan on during the day for a week to try to get it to go away. I'm hoping in 15 years maybe there is an organic option without the smell. Another minor thing is I can't feel the coolness with the mattress protector and fitted sheet. Next time wont be choosing this option. Still wouldn't buy another brand!

I have a bad back and for the last 6 months have difficulty just getting out of bed. There have been times where my wife has had to help me. The Luxe Adapt Firm mattress foam has softened causing my spine to dip. The sag is minimal and not meeting the 3/4" criteria on the 2 1/2-year-old mattress and our warranty claim was rejected. I'm not sure what I am going to do. We purchased individual mattresses my wife wanted the colling / softer mattress which she loves. I am an engineer and can tell the density of foam has weakened.

My husband and I desperately needed a new mattress and did extensive research before deciding on the Tempur-Pedic LuxeAdapt. We chose the soft because we are side and back sleepers and it is perfect! It's completely supportive, yet comfortable and not hot. We are both falling asleep easier and sleeping deeper than we have in years! I would absolutely recommend this mattress for anyone needing better sleep! I was gifted this mattress in exchange for my honest review but all opinions are my own.
