We love our new mattress! My husband has a lot of physical pain and this is the first time in years that he actually said he was excited to go to bed. He never was able to actually sleep at night and this mattress has been allowing him to sleep through the night. This is encouraging and helpful on all our moods during the day! It was money well spent so far.

Due to chronic back pain, I was searching for a really firm mattress. I purchased TEMPUR LUXE ADAPT (firm, queen size). I can't say it's really terrible. However, it's NOT firm enough for me, either. For people with chronic back pain, I really think that this mattress could be much firmer. I'm not sure if I like it.

Paid over 4k for a mattress that claims to be the best. It is the worst mattress I have ever owned. Rolling from side to side is a chore its like rolling up and down a hill depending on which way you turn. If you try to fall back on the bed its like landing on a semi hard surface it has no give. The cover makes no sense, my thought is that's how they resell a used mattress. Also there is no permanent tag attached to the mattress. Mine was attached by some tape or self adhesive which i believe is not in compliance with the state of CA. I am now stuck with a bad mattress for the rest of my golden years. So sad. PS I may reach out to CA consumer affairs in regards to the mattress tag.

I tried switching things up and going with a hybrid mattress and then a traditional mattress for a bit and I'm back to Tempur-Pedic because it's just the best. Things I love about the TEMPUR-Luxe Soft: - It's not hot like some memory foam mattresses can be. - I can lay on my side and not feel like I have to engage all of my muscles to avoid rolling onto my back or stomach. - It supports all of my spine and conforms to my shape. - The edges of the bed have support, so you don't feel like you're falling off the bed if you roll to the edge. - There's almost no motion transfer, so we don't wake each other up every time we change our sleeping schedules. This is a HUGE plus for me. - It has support everywhere, and doesn't have that hump in the middle of the bed AKA "no man's land". - It's not such a deep mattress that you cannot find sheets (this was a huge annoyance with the hybrid. I spent so much trying to find sheets that didn't pull off!) - The break-in period was shorter with this mattress, and I'm not sure if it's because it's a softer model, or something else, but we had one night of wondering if we had made a terrible mistake and then every night since was great. - This mattress is a soft, but keep in mind that it's a TEMPUR-Pedic soft, which in my opinion is closer to a medium firm in other mattresses. I find it the perfect firmness, but this won't be like a pillowtop or a mattress with very little support, you still have the TEMPUR support even though it's "soft". - My husband and I agree on this mattress. Even though we tend to be opposite sleepers, we can both agree on TEMPUR-Pedic.

I first want to say I labored over reading so many reviews until I became confused. So initially we bought a pro adapt medium hybrid California king. It was nice but too soft mostly for me. We did try the Luxe Adapt Firm at first but was reluctant because of the firm language. I always thought we needed a medium to soft mattress. All I can say the Luxe Adapt Firm is more like a medium firm. Initially it will be like a board but we walked and kneaded that sucker to perfection for just about 3 weeks. I will tell you it is soft initially and then supports perfectly. Absolutely the best mattress we have ever slept on. We have never had a mattress where you actually want to lay down on it and get excited doing so. Amazing product! Pillows on the other hand were hard to find. It took almost two months for me buying and returning pillows until I found one pillow that worked with another type of cover for it with a cool side to it. So technically it's a creation of mine so I won't give the brand. If you are looking for some softness, support, and relaxing sleep I cannot tell you how happy we are. Can't believe we had waited this long for perfection. By the way I am 6 foot 2 and weigh about 226. Wife is much smaller but both of us are so comfortable. I have used a number of different mattress sets over the years looking for a really firm bed that does not break down over the course of one or two years and cause dips. This mattress is nice and firm when you sit on it or lay down you slowly sinking just enough to level out your body and then it stops. This is definitely something to get used to. We have only had the bed a few days however noticeably feeling better getting out of bed in the morning. The reason it is getting four stars is because I have not had the bed long enough to make a solid decision on the value coupled with the price tag of this mattress. We also purchased the cooling pillows and they are magnificent quality I'm not sure 12-15 pounds. I want to be clear on value a lot of people think value means cost. This is only part of it. Value is the benefits subtracted by the cost. Benefits - Cost = Value

Do not buy from these criminals. They won't honor warranty. Called spoke with an escalation rep won't completely refused to let me talk to her supervisor. The quality of the product is good for a couple years AT BEST. The customer service is by far the worst I've ever encountered in any company. My wife and I wake up every day with neck and back pain because the rigidity is equivalent to a hammock. A 5,000 hammock. At the end of the day Temper Pedic WILL NOT honor 10 year warranty.

I bought this for my husband who was ill. He tried it out briefly in the showroom and thought was very comfortable. That and also because the salesman said this brand mattress was the best-selling in the USA. My husband got sicker quickly and did not mention how difficult it was for him to get in and out of. Too much time passed before I finally got him to admit yes, a poor purchase on my part; was too late to return/exchange. Now am stuck with this awful mattress. Each morning the fitted sheet has popped off, I've tried three different brands. I also had to place a 3" foam topper on because it is that uncomfortable otherwise. I do not recommend this brand mattress.

It was like sleeping in quicksand. You sink into the mattress like a vacuum sucking you in. I couldn't even turn over! I had to grab the headboard to pull myself out of the mattress, just to get out if bed in the morning. They refunded my money, less a $199 "ship back" fee.

I was fortunately to try the TEMPUR-LuxeAdapt Medium Hybrid mattress. Delivery was so easy; they were in and out in minutes, brought shoe covers, and were pleasant. I've been sleeping on the mattress for less than 1 week but so far, I love it! I have a little hip tenderness from IT band syndrome that still hurts when I wake up but hoping with time, my body gets used to the new mattress.
