This is the best trap available! If you hang the trap out in the bright sunshine it will work faster and better. A just-set trap has little odor, but dead, rotting flies do stink. so plan accordingly. I always have two traps out and move them around as they fill up. Buy several, and make sure that you use sturdy twine or wire to hang the trap as they are not meant to be dropped. And this trap will fill up faster than you can imagine. It will keep flies out of your house or away from your pets. Wish I could give it SIX stars!

This is the only product I have found that consistently traps the flies in our yard and keeps most of them off our patio. They're simple to use. They stink once full and are pretty disgusting to dispose of but it's dead rotting bugs so no surprise there.

I followed the instructions and after 3 days it only got 2 flies. actually only 1 -the other was cause i pushed the liquid up so the fly drowned. it says no flies out but i literally saw them get out. Im starting to wonder if all these positive reviews were bought or Colorado flies are just smarter. It attracted the flies alright but i killed most/all of them with the good ole fashion fly swatter.

If you have flies like me annoying you all summer, then you need to buy this now and stock up. I buy them like ten at a time because I never want to ruin our. They work so well at attracting and catching those annoying flies. It does smell so don't put it right next to your house. I love it and highly recommend.

This bag worked great! I was Leary at first but after flies kept getting in my house I got desperate. I hung this bag at night and by morning not only did I not have flies in the house, but the bad was filling up. I am definitely getting at least 2 more!!!!

This product is insane with how well it works. I was being engulfed by flies and tried those gross sticky things. the amount of flies stuck in there after only 18 hours was CRAZY. It worked for several weeks too! I just bought 5 more for the other side of the house near the trash, camping and extras. Dont put it directly where you sit bc the smell is a little off-putting (obviously). But try it, you won't regret it.

We live in the rural part of the county. Every once in a while we have a hatch of flies. We have an outdoor kitchen, and this makes it really difficult to enjoy it. These fly traps have been a game changer. Very easy to use and effective. Just don't hang it close to where you are entertaining, because it does smell.

These things are wonderful! I initially bought one to try because I can't sit on our porch without being bothered by flies constantly. Within a few minutes I could see they were already attracted to the trap (because when you add water to it it smells like death ;) ). Within a few days it was full. Gross, but great!

These things work. Easy to use. You need your own string or wire. Cut around the top where indicated, pop out the hanger/fly entrance and add water. At this point I would recommend hanging it up away from doors or places you hang out in a lot and filling to the water line after hanging because once that little packet in there dissolves, it will stink badly. That being said, that is where the flies will be. Not flying in your door, or all over your poor dog snoozing or his kibble, or anything else. Even a few feet from your trash can and they will go in the trap instead. But the smell is pretty horrific. I am willing to deal with that as long as I don't have to be close to it for any length of time. So 5 stars for working as advertised and well. I would say the bad smell zone is about 5 feet around it give or take. I trash them and replace about once a month but the brand does offer a reusable one with bait you can buy but I don't really want to wash the fly morgue so I just glove up and quickly cut it and let it fall into a trash bag and tie it up immediately. Then replace with a fresh one.

Works GREAT! Garage was full of flies, annoying and biting pest. Put the bag two feet from the door at the corner of the house and there are few flies that come in. The only drawback is the smell when the wind blows the wrong way but that's the trade off.
