every summer we get a lot of flies in our garage. This little contraption works great! Just make sure its in a well ventilated area as it smells horrible and then mix that with the summer heat and it about knocks you off your feet if youre too close to it. it works better than anything ive tried before. Ive had this hanging for less than 24 hours now and it has at least 20 flies in there. some gnats too!

This is a great product. The ingredients does smell like po-po once you add the water and that's what attracts the flies by the droves. The smell isn't that bad until after a bunch of flies (hundreds) have been trapped and are dead. So, you simply put it into a lagge zip-loc bag (or other secure bag) and carefully place it in the trash. You don't want that bag getting punctured and the liquid prematurely spilling out on or before it enters the trash truck. I will buy this priduct again.

I'm not one that writes reviews but this product was disappointing as heck. I bought it for my dogs area bc it's over run by black house flies but not only do the house flies not bother with it, it has started to attract the bigger blueish green flies and that's the only flies going in it. I read the instructions and did everything right but this obviously isn't for house flies at all. I won't be buying again and won't be recommending it to others.

I had a fly problem in the house and noticed they were hanging around the porch and whenever the door was opened/closed, they would come in. I tried my own sugar/water bait by cutting off the top of a 2-liter bottle, like you see on the DIY sites and nothing. I went to Home Depot, got this fly trap and literally within hours there were dozens in the bag. It's been 10 days and that bag probably has 100's of flies in it. Since I hung it up by the deck outside of the porch, no more flies in the house. It's crazy how this thing really works!!

I have been using Rescue fly traps 5-6 years now. The trap used to be yellow in color but are now a light greenish color. Now I don't know if the color has anything to do with it but the traps no longer work as good as they used to. I hang them in the same spot and nothing else has changed. The traps used to work fantastic but now do not seem worth buying any longer. Did Rescue change something other than the color of the container?

I've used this product for 2 years. It works great, I trap hundreds of flies a month. I probably will catch every fly in the county. My fly problem was under control last year, but after a mild winter, I've had to double my usage. I now use 2 or 3 bags in the backyard and 2 in the front. Be sure to keep them at least 20ft from the house or where you gather. Be careful in handling, when disposing them, close them, keep them upright and multi bag them just before trash pick up. Don't drop them.

The fly traps have worked in the past, my last few purchases have been a waste of money. I have tried from both Home Depot and Amazon with the same results. I can't even detect the bad odor that usually attracts the flies to this traps. I have no idea if the attractant formula has been changed or what is going on but it is a big disappointment since as I stated before they use to work great.

I live near a swamp so spring and summer mean FLIES! Every time a window or door is left open the house is full of flies and it becomes so irritating. I decided to give these a try and I'm absolutely amazed at how well they work. I've always had to deal with fly strips and other sticky traps around my house but no more. After 3 days I had half the amount of flies inside and now I hardly see any. If flies are a serious problem for you this will absolutely do the trick.

Wish I would have ready the reviews instead of just looking at the rating. This thing is STANKY!! I had flies in my garage so I bought this. Now the whole garage smells like a rotting corps, AND there are still flies. I'll take just the flies instead. No thank you.

My sister bought 1 and it worked on her porch so I bought 2, because I have an extra large porch. I live out in the country around a lot of trees so there is a lot of flies. I hung up 1 on each end of my porch. In 9 days both bags were full. This product definitely works!!
