Works. PERIOD!

We bought this, hung it up on our back porch, and had to throw it out in three days. It was FULL of flies. Worked better than any fly paper, fly strip, or trap we have ever used. We went right out and bought two more. Extremely pleased with the ease of set up, strength and quality of the packaging, and the amount of flies it trapped. Tip: When it's time to take down and dispose of it, this works great! The flies fight to get in, and will cover the top and outside of the collection bag. Double up a plastic grocery sack, hold it by the handles, and slide it under the trap. Quickly tie the handles of the sack tightly around the cord it's hanging from. The flies are trapped in the bag, and the trap won't leak on you while trying to cut it down. Dispose of responsibly!

These are outstanding! In two days we had to have caught a zillion flies with these. You will get a smell from them eventually but just move it further away. We bought the refillable bottles but I didn't feel like dumping dead flies and having to clean the bottle so I'm going with disposable this time. Highly recommend. Very effective.

Dont place near where you dont want flys!

I purchased these because we tend to get flys around our trash cans. Our trash is near our back door, and sometimes the flys make their way inside. I figured it would be smart to place this near the trash to trap the flys and prevent them from coming towards the door. WRONG! This attracted way more flys than what was initially around the trash can. There were maybe 10 flys initially, within 2 hours theres a swarm around the trash and this thing, with a thick layer of flys already in the liquid. it works, dont grt me wrong, I'm so thankful about that, but i cant use my backdoor until I can move this. Dont make the same mistake i did!

A must have for outdoors in summer

It works! If you're going to use for an outdoor gathering, its best to get it up and in the sun a few hours before the party but it starts working right away. The packet inside is not the most pleasant odor, but we only smelled it after two days of baking in the sun with hundreds of flies caught inside. Flies were so bad we couldn't eat outside and this has let us reclaim our patio. We're on day three and its still attracting and trapping flies.

Amazing product

I have never smelt anything so foul before in my life! I place it in a shaded area like the directions say and it attracted hundreds of flies! You can smell it from about 15 feet away. One trap can cover about 2-300 square ft in my opinion. Great for the summer time, especially if you have a yard with dog poo in it

Stinks!

Please do not stop making this thing. Within 1 hour of hanging the trap the flies were there. It stinks. Before I hung it I had flies on every window-----now none. They are all in the bag and more keep coming. I live in a regular city , not a livestock yard. But by the amount of flies this trap attracts one would think differently.

Smelly great fly catcher

This trap got lots of flies and got them before they came into the house. The poor review is because of the smell. It smells like a garbage can. Even putting it on the back porch and I could smell it inside. It would get a 5 star review if it didn't smell so bad.

Unreal results

I bought one of these 2 days ago. It's been up for less than 48 hours. I am amazed. No astounded how many flies are in the trap. At least 100-150 flies. And I don't live on a farm. We just had a few that were buzzing around us out side. Don't know where they are coming from but they don't stand a chance. If you could have one for mosquitos the world would be at your feet.

It does EXACTLY what it says!!

This year our porch has become covered by flies. We have cat food bowls and they were literally covered. It has never been as bad as this. My husband found these traps through an online search. We hung 2 traps, one on either side of the area by the food bowls. I'm adding photos that I took 3hrs after hanging. The instructions state it will take up to 4hrs for the bait to fully activate once water is added so I didn't expect too much when I went to peek. The food had only a couple of flies left and all the dark spots you see are flies!! We will absolutely be using these…thank you for such a great product!!!!
