100%

I am very pleased with your fly trap, disposable pouch. My local store was out of them the other day and I had to buy another brand Black Flag. Their bag does not work like yours. The one thing I like about them is their top is a screw top. Yours works as advertised.

So a guy overdosed down the hall...

So a guy overdosed in our building a few weeks back. The cops came 2-3 days after he died, and it was summer time. You could smell something funny before they had even found out what happened. So when they finally broke in a removed the body, the smell stuck around for a week or so in the hallway. No fun! Well, imagine taking a piece of that guy and putting it in a plastic bag loosely tied up right outside your door. That's what this Fly Trap device basically is. It will definitely attract flies, just like a dead body does, but you'll get tons more flies than before an if this thing drops on the floor, might as well move out! What a crazy concept!! Threw this hazard away the same day I got it.

Does what it says it does

It attracts flies like crazy! Do not put it in your house or all the flies will follow. The trap is best placed somewhere where the insects can escape to, like outside near an open kitchen window. The activated attractant will smell (faintly) like a cross between rotting meat and fruit.

Dying to get in!

This is the best fly trap ever. I have 2 dogs and I noticed an increase of flies. I went to the local Tractor Supply Store and came across this product by accident and boy I'm so glad I did. PROS: It is very easy to use. Simply cut around the top where indicated, add water and hang. When full, insert into a trash bag and tie up with the string that it hung with. CONShere is only one draw back I see to the product and that is before I can catch the 20,000 flies, they start turning into maggots and I have to get rid of the bag.

worked ok

the trap worked ok. Some flies were attracted to it and some were not. It seems like a bunch of flies need to find the trap and alert others for it to work well. It smells like old fish that is rotting in the sun so put it a good distance from the area where you will be occupying. I guess I would give it one more try before I can make a definitive decision.

Doesn't catch house flies

I'm not one that writes reviews but this product was disappointing as heck. I bought it for my dogs area bc it's over run by black house flies but not only do the house flies not bother with it, it has started to attract the bigger blueish green flies and that's the only flies going in it. I read the instructions and did everything right but this obviously isn't for house flies at all. I won't be buying again and won't be recommending it to others.

It works.

I've used this product for 2 years. It works great, I trap hundreds of flies a month. I probably will catch every fly in the county. My fly problem was under control last year, but after a mild winter, I've had to double my usage. I now use 2 or 3 bags in the backyard and 2 in the front. Be sure to keep them at least 20ft from the house or where you gather. Be careful in handling, when disposing them, close them, keep them upright and multi bag them just before trash pick up. Don't drop them.

Does not work

The fly traps have worked in the past, my last few purchases have been a waste of money. I have tried from both Home Depot and Amazon with the same results. I can't even detect the bad odor that usually attracts the flies to this traps. I have no idea if the attractant formula has been changed or what is going on but it is a big disappointment since as I stated before they use to work great.

We're sorry to hear of your bad experience with your current purchases of our Fly Trap. The formula hasn't changed, but it is possible you encountered two defective traps, as unlikely as that sounds. Please contact us at info@rescue.com and we'll make this right and send you new traps.

Works. PERIOD!

We bought this, hung it up on our back porch, and had to throw it out in three days. It was FULL of flies. Worked better than any fly paper, fly strip, or trap we have ever used. We went right out and bought two more. Extremely pleased with the ease of set up, strength and quality of the packaging, and the amount of flies it trapped. Tip: When it's time to take down and dispose of it, this works great! The flies fight to get in, and will cover the top and outside of the collection bag. Double up a plastic grocery sack, hold it by the handles, and slide it under the trap. Quickly tie the handles of the sack tightly around the cord it's hanging from. The flies are trapped in the bag, and the trap won't leak on you while trying to cut it down. Dispose of responsibly!

this can help but also make your fly problem worse

These are amazin. a neighbors uses the dirt in front of my gate as a bathorrom and there were lots of flies coming into my yard. so i hung this over there and it collected not only the flies from my street but all the flies in my county. You MUST dispose of this before it gets out of control. and by dispose, you must seal it well and pour a gallon of bleach in and around your garbage can. Never, ever allow this to hang for more than a week or so. don't wait until maggots are inside it. dispose of very carefully. if used incorrectly, this product will multiply your fly problem by ten thousand. the makers wont tell you this because they want you to keep buying them
