Chevrolet put these on when two sets of the tires that came on the vehicle when new failed at 7000 miles. Have had them on now for nearly 97,000 miles just ordered another set for my Chevrolet High Country Silverado. Ride is superior to any make of tire I've had, durability is unsurpassed as you can see by the milage and handeling is great, especially on wet roads, don't know if you can get them to hydroplane in wet conditions. They lack a little in snow and ice but preform well if you just slow down like you should do anyway! Had only 1 flat in all the miles driven. Great security for my wife and I! I've had the Defender series on several different vehicles. Best performing road tire I've ever had. Wet, slick, icy and light snow, the traction, stopping power and cornering is the best. I'd love to have some narley looking AT tires on my 4runner for looks but I'll never change from the Defenders, I feel safe with them on my vehicle.

I have used the defender tires for years on my vehicles and love them in every way. Bought a chev pu and the tires were still good, but did not like them and had to replace with these defender tires , could not wait the other tires were loud and did not drive as nice. I will only use michelin tires. My spouse does think it makes that much difference but it does.

I bought these tires (LT265/75R16) several years ago for my Nissan Frontier after the factory originals wore out after about 40K miles. I currently have almost 100K miles on these and they are just now telling me that I need to think about replacing them. I am planning on keeping my truck (only 140K miles on it) so I am looking for the same model tire.

Have always had excellent results with these tires.good traction and wear characteristics and never any issues with tread life and no issues with any set I've ever purchased! I've always preferred Michelin over other brands and will be a customer for life!

I installed a set of Michelins on my pickup when the original tires wore out at about 64,000 miles (I'm not a "hard driver", so I tend to get good mileage out of tires). I drove that set of Michelins for approximately 65,000 miles. These Michelins now have only 8,000 miles on them, but they are as excellent as the previous set. I bought my first set of Michelins in 1971, and with only one exception, I've bought only Michelins since then--and I've never had a faulty Michelin tire.

The vehicle that the tires are used on is primarily my wife's car. She is a nurse who works the night shift (12hrs) and drives at night and in the early morning hours. My chief priorty is for her safety which I believe is provided through the great road handling abilities of the Michelin tires. In Oregon during the winter months we have a substantial amount of rain and the Michelin tires are designed to easily disperse the water off the edge of the tires. Because of this safety feature there is less likelihood of hydroplaning, especially when it is dark out and you can't see the standing water on the freeway or surface streets. Also because of this design feature, it eleminates the necessity of going to the additional expense of having the tire sipped. There was also a noticeable difference in the handling and performance of the Michelin tires. For safety, performance, and comfort you won't find a better tire in the industry. Period!

I have 2007 Honda Ridgeline with original tires, LTX M/S. 125,000 miles on them and the tire dealer told me that tread life was nearing the end but, would rotate them one more time for me. These tires have been the smoothest, durable longest lasting set I have ever owner. I drive highway 99% of the time and rotate tires every time oil is changed, 7,000 miles. Definitely recommend these to anybody looking for good value and quality product.

I have been a Michelin fan for 30 years. Every vehicle I have runs on Michelin rubber. I bought a set of Defender LTX M/S for my 2019 Ridgeline and could not be more disappointed. The road noise from these tires was terrible. They whined like a monster truck. I ended up replacing them with a different set of tires from another company. Another customer at the same tire store had a similar experience with the same tire. I’m hoping this is just a one off bad batch of tires and not a loss of historically great quality.

I purchased four new LTX M/S tires for our 2003 Honda Pilot in June 2005 to replace the OEM tires after a noisy 48,846 miles. I checked the mileage this morning before writing this review: 158,001 miles, and the tread is still well above the wear bars! Great tires!
