The LTX M/S tire is as good as it gets. The mileage is great along with the traction and water shedding all the way to the minimum tread wear bar. I have bought 3 sets over the years and the mileage was from 90,000 to a high of 103,000 miles on 2 different pick up trucks. I was very skeptical of the wet traction since the wear rate was very low, but to my surprise, the traction never left. Thanks for finding the perfect compromise of wear and traction as I know that having both has been a mystery for years.

I have used a total of 48 of these tires since 1989 on two different Dodge 3500 dually trucks,carrying a Lance camper at 5,000 pounds loaded, often towing boats from 17 to 23 feet and travelling from Cabo San Lucas, Mexico to Anchorage. Alaska and throughout Western 1/2 of the US without a single failure. These tires performance in a mix of heavy loads, hot highways and bad roads have given me great confidence during my widely varied travels! I will be a lifelong customer of this superb and reliable product.

About 18 years ago I purchased my first set of Michelin LTX M/S tires for my Jeep Cherokee and was pleasantly surprised to find they were the best tires I ever owned. Great traction wet/dry & on/off road, quiet ride, and best of all long mileage. After purchasing a GMC Yukon I wasn't happy with the factory installed tires. They were noisy, poor traction off road and wore out quickly. After installing a set of Michelin LTX M/S I am very happy again. Based on my experience with tires I will only purchase and recommend Michelin tires.

The LTX is by far the best tires I have ever owned. My first set of LTX was bought used from A friend I worked with and when I bought the tires they had 50,000 miles on them and still looked new. I put another 100,000 miles on them!!! Thats right I got 150,000 miles out of one set of tires and they still have 1/4 inch deep tread and I'm still using them on and old project truck. The only reason I changed the tires was due to age and some weather cracks on side walls other wise I would still have them on the truck and I'm willing to bet I could get 200,000 miles out of them. Needless to say I purchased a new set of the LTX for the old truck also I brought a set of LTX for my full size van. I have a set of Michelin on my car and as soon as I save up enough money you can bet I will be buying a set of LTX for my other 4x4 truck!! For me the Michelin LTX has made a believer out of me to be the best truck or van tire you can buy!!! We have been in business since 1933 and have used Michelin tires on our business vehicle since 1960 as well as a our personal vehicles. They have always exceeded our expectations regarding longevity, superior quality and excellent ride. Riding down the highway, little or no "tire noise". We carry a large amount of weight hauling our product. Michelin tires handle well with the load while still providing a smooth ride and safe braking.

Everything I know technically about tires you couldn't fill a thimble with. So I will tell you what is important to me. The two things that are most important to me are safety and dependability which I continually get from Michelin tires. I think I echo the sentiment of most women. I have these tires on a 2500 Dodge Ram 4X4 pickup and this truck rides as smooth on these tires as any car or van. The tires wear good too. This is the 2nd set of these tires that I have had on my truck and it is a 2003 truck. This set has been on the truck for about 2 years and they look as good as they did new. I love Michelin tires.

I drive a F250 and use to run bias tires because the sidewalls were tougher. I'm on about to get my third set of LT M/S. They are a great tire. Quiet and strong. I usually load about 1,000# to haul every day and the quiet smooth ride is to set example. Never had a tire failure with one and only cut one once. Highly recommended for a personal service vehicle.

For past several years I have used Michelin Tires on my vehicles with the latest being installed on a 2008 2500 Dodge Diesel Pickup. Previous Michelin Tires on this vehicle had 59K miles on them and only replaced due to weather cracks appearing on side walls. Tires were five years old with vehicle stored in sun and would estimate tread had another 15,000 miles on them. Only replaced due to cracks and I pull a fifth wheel on a regular basis. Have recommended these tires to several friends and most have purchased them. Highly recommend them to anyone for any vehicle.

In 2002 I purchased a 1995 Suburban 2500 series with a diesel engine. I soon put on a set of 275-16 LTX Michelin tires. I now have 112,000 miles on these tires and there is still tread left. I will be getting new ones before long, but what is ironic, is that the lady that I purchased the Suburban from said that the reason she was selling it was because it wore out tires so quickly. I'm sure that a lot of the longivity can be attributed to driving habits, but the Michelin tires have performed exceptionally as well.
