The LTX M/S tires provide the greatest control for all-weather driving conditions to me. And, this is substantial since I drive a small truck. The rear-end is quite loose, especially when the roads have precipitation on them. The tires provide the traction that is needed for the city traffic which I have to endure. I would and have recommended Michelin tires to family and friends. Michelin has a life-time customer! Thanks for making such a great product!

My mom is and over the road truck driver delivering camper trailers all over the country. Her 2008 Silverado 3500HD has nearly 550,000 miles on it. She is on her third set of Michelin - Michelin Defender LTX M/S. 3 Sets of 6 tires per set(18 tires) none of them have ever blown out. The least amount of miles she has gotten out of a set is 103,000 miles the most was 120,000 miles on the last set. These things perform and are well worth the investment.

These tires came new on my 2009 Honda Pilot - I put 95,000 worry free miles on the original set. I just bought 4 new ones this week and hope to have similar results. Great ride, great wear (with faithful rotation), low road noise and never any vibrations or flats. I really like these tires.

Best tire I have ever owned. I have gotten between 75k and 110k out of every set I've owned. Great grip on dry/wet/snow until about the last 20% of tread left on the tires, then a little slick on wet/snowy roads (but that is expected with any tire). Never had any quality issues with the five sets I've owned. I have used these tires on various 2WD light trucks with no complaints. Worth every penny.

Been using Michelins for 35 years. Had to very off the road to avoid a deer and the shoulder had a drop off. The Michelin's came right back onto the road with out pulling back. The safety of the Grandkids I feel is insured by drivving on Michelins. I recommend them every chance I get. Some people don't want to spend the extra money but in the wear factor and milage I save in the long run. One thing,,,,,Rotate them. I do it at 5000 even though recommended at 7500.

Michelin tires are so reliable that my husband and I won't buy any other brand for our vehicles. They make the ride smooth and perform with excellence on wet roads. Here in Florida, the roads can turn treacherous at times due the so called "Florida ice", but we are confident our Michelin tires will always keep us safe. I purchased this tire in 2020 shortly after cupping the OEM Firestone Destination Tires with less than 30,000 miles. I sold the Jeep Wrangler in May 2024 with over 101,000 miles on the vehicle. 73,000 of the last miles were on the Michelin Defender LT MS tires purchased in 2020. The tires were still serviceable with 5/32 tread depth remaining.

Replaced stock tires on 2008 Z71 with LTX-m/s and they are so quiet and ride so good it is like a new truck. Still checking gas mileage as it may have dropped a little. Also put a set of michelin tires on wifes 2010 Maxima and the ride is like a new car.

I just returned from an off road trip in the PA mountains with a couple of Jeep buddies. It had rained and snowed the day prior and I was expecting to have trouble driving the logging trails with these tires. I was pleasntly supprised with the performance under these conditions. Granted these are not full off road tires but, I went thru alot of muddy, steep elevation changes with no traction problems. The tow ropes stayed in the Jeep. I use these tires for 99% on road use and they provide great mileage with a confortable ride. I was just suprised as to how well they performed under a very challenging condition. Thank you Michelin for bringing out the hidden goat in my suburban Jeep.

This is my 2nd set of Defender LTX M/S tires for my 2008 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab. I'm surprised to read that the latest reviews all comment about the road noise! One of the reasons I love these tires is because they are very quite!!! I've never had any road noise with either set of tires. I used to work out of state and had to make a 350 mile round trip each week. My first set held up so well that I basically had to replace them due to dry rot from age and not from wear. They work well in the rain and don't hydroplane easily.
