In the last two weeks I have had two sets (265/65/17) installed and now they are coming of my 4Runner and being replaced with another brand. I have always heard that Michelin was a top tire, but my experience has been terrible. Two out of four from the last set were out of round and it didn't matter what method of balancing was used (we tried road force and traditional) and it didn't matter. The first set was worse so i expect they had the same problem. Very unhappy with the amount of time and trips to tire shop dealing with bad manufacturing / quality control. Will never purchase again.

I installed a set of Michelins on my pickup when the original tires wore out at about 64,000 miles (I'm not a "hard driver", so I tend to get good mileage out of tires). I drove that set of Michelins for approximately 65,000 miles. These Michelins now have only 8,000 miles on them, but they are as excellent as the previous set. I bought my first set of Michelins in 1971, and with only one exception, I've bought only Michelins since then--and I've never had a faulty Michelin tire.

Bought these for my wife's 02 explorer sport. Wanted a tire to handle slick wet roads and slight off-road conditions. Tires have preformed beyond expectation. I even took them through truck size mud holes to see what they could handle. Tires held grip very well and tread stayed clear of debri. Same for snowy roads, good all around performer. I feel better knowing that my wife is riding around on tires I can depend on. They are amazing and suprized me with their rough and tough ability even though they look mild mannered.

When I purchased my last vehicle it had realtively new Michelin tires on it. I was so impressed with the durability and wear that when it cam time to replace them I stuck with Michelin's. There are just some things that you have to buy and realize that you get what you pay for, and in my opinion that tires are the biggest safety factor on a vehicle.

Security on the road is the most important reason I buy Michelin tires for my vehicles. I feel safe with my family knowing I've equiped my SUV and cars with the quality of Michelin tires. They make my vehicles handle like they should in any condition wet or dry, hot or cold I know I can depend on my Michelin's.

As a consumer I have purchased the LTX M/S tires for our families SUV's for years. They have always been very dependable, stable, good wearing and smooth tires for three different makes of SUV's. Within the next 30 days I am getting ready to purchase another set of LTX M/S tires for my pickup truck. I have never had a bad experience with this tire and find no reason to try another brand or product. As Forest Gump would have said, "quality is as quality does." Good for you Michelin.

I have had two sets of these tires and they are great. My first set came on my 2007 Honda Ridgeline. I traded it in still with the original tires on it at 91,000 miles in 2010. The same tires came on my 2010 Ridgeline. I just replaced those original tires after 101,000 miles. I bet you can guess what I replaced them with. Well worth a couple extra bucks for an extra 40,000 miles or so from competitor tires. A great product!!!

My first set of Michelins weren't purchased by me new. I traded for a used Ford Bronco that had a set of MTX's on it that had 60,000 miles already on the tires. They were still in great shape and I decided to drive on them until I needed new tires. Well, I drove the wheels off of that Bronco and even after I put another 60,000 miles on the Michelins I was amazed that they were still in pretty good shape. Since then, I have always bought Michelins. They may cost a little extra when purchased but they will outlast two sets of the other national brands. Now I tell all my friends, "Forget the rest, buy the Michelins!"

In my honest opinion, there is NO better tire for SUVs operating in northern climates than the Michelin LTX M/S. They provide a quiet, comfortable ride, with great handling and uncompromised wet traction. They are the only tires that I have found that will climb my steep driveway, when it's covered in packed snow. They even helped my RWD van get up the drive!

I have been a faithfull customer of Michelin tires since i can remenber. my dad always told me that they were the best for yor money and he was right. i just recently bought my second set of 4 Michelin LTX M/S tires for my truck. Now my wife likes them too, that she will not have me purchase any other brand. good job michelin. keep it up
