Best tire on the planet

I bought my Pilot new it now has 81,200 miles on it with the same original tires. I'm looking for new ones now before winter and I'm having a hard time finding them in my area. Why aren't people stocking what really works. I thought about trading it in and the 2 dealers that looked at them said those aren't the orig. when I said yes they are their comment was that's one for the record book! I live on a farm in SNOW country and they are by far the best, all around, worth the money tire ever made!!!

Best all around tires ever!!!

I bought the LTX M/S tire about a year ago after sliding around in the snow on my last tires. The m/s tire handle so well I don't have to worry about hydroplaning in the rain, not having traction in the snow, or even too much about sliding on the ICE!!! My husband loves them because they make our truck go in the mountains where you would think only a jeep could go. The traction in mud is phenominal. I finally found a tire I feel safe driving on too. They also make my truck look so much better than the last ones I had. Me and my husband will never buy another tire but Michelin's. We even argued with the salesman when we bought our brand new truck because it didn't come with michelin's!!! We already have an appointment to get them switched.

Not as good in the winter.

I have the Defender LTX M/S on a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee, replacing LTX MS2 tires that I used for 45,000 miles. The car is driven mostly in Montana where we have a lot of slippery snow packed roads and some black ice. I now have 6,000 miles on the new tire, mostly winter driving so far. The tires handle similarly to the ones they replaced, good handling on dry pavement, noise is not an issue. My complaint is that they do not have as much traction on snow-packed / icy roads as the tires they replaced. I can feel slippage at times and places I've driven for years in several generations of Grand Cherokees. Tires seem hard in cold weather

I would buy these tires agaun

I brought my first set of Michelin tires when my Honda van needed new tires. Originally I brought another band but after a week I didn't like them. The Michelin dealer gave me full credit for the other ties toward the Michelin's. The van drove and handled so much better. When my daughter's car needed tires I brought Michelin and she couldn't believe how much better her car drove and handled. I put Michelin's on our Ford Escape and my wife really liked how much quieter the car drove. I'm goning to make sure the next car I buy has Michelin's on it.

I put these onto my 2004 ...

I put these onto my 2004 Tacoma when I first purchased it new and after 6 years & 95,000 miles, I've decided to replace them with another set.. I've driven on them 60 miles roundtrip to work everyday - in snow and blistering heat. All I've ever done is rotated and balanced... I couldn't be any happier!

Snow traction is back!

Had to replace the OEM Hankook Ventus all season tires at 28k miles. They didn’t last long. The major snowfall of the season they had me questioning my Explorer. It’s 4WD and even in the snow mode, traction wasn’t there. Braking was horrible, ABS was kicking in all the time. Felt like I was back to driving my Town Car, and even that dealt with the snow better. The Ford dealer agreed these tires were about done. Weeks later the dealer hooked me up with these tires. No more flat spots. The ride improved, quieter too. Yes I know new tires make a difference. But the old tires weren’t that old. The next snowfall was a big improvement. Traction was back, braking was confident. 1,000 miles with these tires and so far I’m sold this was a smart purchase. 6 inches of unplowed roads this morning and I felt much more confident. Driving smart of course. Cannot say how long these will last but my precious experience of these tires on a ‘99 Tahoe was favorable too. Good tires for this vehicle.

Michelin Tires Are The BEST !

Nothing drives, rides, or last like Michelin. I have been buying Michelin tires forever. I travel the SE and have found after I wear out a set of Michelins 3 times its time to replace the truck. 80 - 90 k miles per set. You pay for them but the value is there compared to other tires plus you can't beat the ride with a stick!

A single word can ...

A single word can summarize the Michelin tires on my 2010 Honda Pilot Touring: Confidence. After struggles with other brands, I now understand the value Michelin provides. No more slipping in the wet. No more early wear issues. No more worrying about safety and early replacements. Thank goodness Honda chose these Michelins as standard equipment. I won't question the cost of replacing other brands with Michelin again. It's worth a bit more to have the confidence to drive like you mean it.

"ONLY Tires I will use on my vehicles"

I own 4 vehicles and would use no ther tire. When I buy a new vehicle the very first thing I do is replace the tires with Michelins and sell the others. I find that the warranty, wear and overall feeling of safety given by their use is unsurpassed. Fortunately all my children have followed my lead and spend the little extra for the same terrific results. I highly recommend any Michelin tire, but my favorites have always have been the LTX series since we own suvs and trucks.
