Very impressed with this trampoline. My daughters (7 & 13) are both active in tumbling and cheer, and this trampoline provides a better area for them to practice their jumps, flips, etc... much better than a round trampoline. Not too bad putting it together either. My 13 year old daughter and her friend were able to help me put it together, while the 7 year old helped with a few of the easier things. It made for a good daddy/daughters project and took about 3 hours to put it together.
Very sturdy material! The metal legs are very solid and heavy. I still secured them with stakes, just for a little added security to keep it grounded in the event of high winds.
I do not recommend middle aged or older adults attempting to relive their glory days and showing their kids how to do jumps and tricks on the trampoline...never, ever! My 38 year old wife decided to show our girls a simple flip for them to try. She landed it the first time, and tore her ACL the second time. I told her before the attempted to show them her trick that it wasn't a good idea. It was not one of those "Hold my beer moments." Nevertheless, she learned the hard way. So, if you are an adult that plans to show your kids some of what you could do back in your glory days, I'll tell you the same thing I told my wife...you probably shouldn't do it! Trust me...it's not worth a torn ACL or any other type of injury! It is important to note this was no result of the trampoline...it was the result of an adult pushing the limits of their middle aged body!
Over 2 weeks, a lot of kids have enjoyed the trampoline. We preach safety and no tricks without adult supervision! The biggest joys so far are watching the girls and their friends practice their flips and encourage one another. Plus, the wife and I like to sit outside and watch and listen to them laugh...while the wife ices her knee down while we wait on her ACL surgery in about another month.
I recommend this trampoline!
