Yes it is alot to spend on a trash can but I have compared and this is a super price. I was concerened about ordering it online not seeing it in person but it was more than I expected. I needed a trash can that would keep the dog out of and it works for that but it is great when your hands are full of stuff and it just opens up for you. I would order again if needed.

I absolutely love the touchless trash container. So many times I will have something on my hands when I need to throw something else away and all it takes is a wave of the hand to activate the lid. Now we don't have to touch the lid anymore. It is sensitive so put it out of the way or the lid will open constantly. A little pricey but its not something that has to be replaced often like other waste containers do. Beautifully designed. Would buy it again without reservation.

I just got this can a month ago, it's working fine so far. It does take a moment for the sensor to work, so the lid doesn't open instantaneously. It has a switch in the back which allows you to turn the sensor on and off. If you push the open button it will stay open which is useful while cooking.

works well. I like the fact that it has a couple of buttons so I can open it and the lid stays open until I push the close button when I am peeling an apple etc. Most of the time I use it as designed, letting it open to the motion of my hand. The price was great. I hope the thinness of the metal does not cause it to bend or dent. So far it is great.

We recently bought the stainless steel look trash can from Wal-Mart.com It is a very nice trash can. The family likes the fact that it opens by itself. I like the fact that the price was low. We had been looking for a while to find a stainless steel trash can that did not cost a lot and we finally found it. Great Product, just as advertised.

Purchased more than 5 years ago at Sams Club. The lid started not opening completely recently, so we will definitely be replacing with the same unit. Grandkids enjoy throwing away their trash but find that we usually have to replace the batteries after a family gathering, after continual use by family. Another reviewer commented on their dog not being able to dig in the garbage and I definitely agree with that statement. Another plus; odors are contained in the can.

Very pleased with this product. The price was very reasonable compared to similar stainless steel trash cans. The design is sleek and looks very nice in my kitchen. The only draw back is that the lid sometimes closes too quickly, but if you con't to move your hand in front of the sensor it will stay open longer.

This trash can, although it holds 13 gallons like my old one, is much more compact, taking up less floor space. It also looks much nicer. The sensor works beautifully when I have my hands full and closes quietly when I'm finished. Having gotten this for only $35, when I've seen others for more than $100, was a steal! Great value for a great product.

this is already my 2nd trashcan of this kind.I love it and will not ever buy a different Trashcan. I have all my friends hooked on this trashcan,most of them have bought one. It is also a great fun piece in my kitchen,all my guests are eager to get rid of their trash,so they can use my trashcan.No more cleaning up after company.....

Having looked in many places trying to find an affordable stainless rectangular trash can - this one really fits us! I love that we don't have to step on a pedal - and it opens automatically. I was worried at first because it opens sometimes by someone walking by, but it has been a few weeks and rarely happens anymore. I have had to move it back a bit not to be in the path of our kitchen. Great purchase and much less expensive than what I was looking at purchasing!!
