This was a birthday present for our daughter (turning 3). Our 3 and 6 year old are having a blast playing in the kitchen area and in their “house upstairs” (the fort). They love to swing of course, but they've been enjoying the pretend play part the most right now. We have also been having “picnics” where they eat in the fort, and they think is the best ever! We hired our own contractor to put this together, so I can't speak to their installation services or on how assembly was. The contractor said it was “fairly typical” as far as swing sets go.

Before I purchased this for my granddaughter I read all the customer service reviews. What really made me decide to go with KidKraft was that they responded to any review that was not happy with everything. Even if one bolt was missing, they were on it. The play set arrived way faster than I thought it would and there was absolutely nothing missing!! Everything was in the order and every board was perfect! It took my husband, son-in-law, and his brother about four hours to put it together. It is perfect! Great quality! I highly recommend this company.

I assembled 90% of this by myself in about 8 hours. Needed help with attaching the main swing beam and putting the roof on. Assembly was super straightforward and the directions were detailed and easy to follow. This process required a variety of tools (both powered and not) that made the job MUCH easier. Would definitely recommend this to others!

It's a great starter swing set for smaller kids well built and you just have to follow instructions they are very detailed we had no issues in assembly each piece is labeled We actually installed a sink with water and added lights and flower boxes My grand daughter thinks it's a castle

This is the perfect swing set/clubhouse combo for our smaller backyard! Our girls LOVE it! Assembly wasn't too difficult and took about 6 hours total. My only complaint is that a few of the pieces were damaged when we opened the box. Would be nice to get replacements for those.

We love this playset so far! My husband and I got it as a Christmas present for my daughter. The quality seems to be great and we like that it is more of a compact playset. The assembly wasn't too bad either. It took my husband and a few guys about 8 hours total. We are happy with it!

The McKinley swing set was relatively easy to put together with the included instructions. So far, the swing set has been up for about two weeks and it is our kids' favorite place to play. They love the ground level kitchen area, climbing up to the slide, and playing on the swings!

Love love love this swing set! It's a great value and very sturdy. So cute too! Only complaint is that some of the wood siding was very rough and splintered (but this was mostly in areas the kids won't interact with much). Could use some sanding nonetheless. We decided to paint the whole thing and are so happy with how it came out! Our little man loves all the gadgets too

Overall I love this swing set. It's sturdy, well designed, and has a lot of nice features that makes this really enjoyable for my child, like the stove and kitchen sink. My only reason for knocking off one star is simply because, while I understand why they generalized parts for making them usable in a number of kits, it would be awesome if they could add a small mark on the wood where certain things need to go and not rely on end user (end builder?) measurements. But again, overall, fantastic kit, instructions were 99% accurate throughout, and now built this swing set is perfect for our yard.

Good quality product, especially for the price point. We have a very narrow back yard, and this fits perfectly with some left over space for the kids to run around. My husband put it together in one day and my kids have played on it everyday since. I was a bit nervous after I bought it because the tracking number didn't work so I thought my package was lost, but it was shipped and delivered within 5 days of purchasing. Didn't give it 5 stars because a handful of the screws were really soft and would get stripped before they were flush against the wood. Luckily it happened in areas that wouldn't get snagged on kids clothes or tripped over so all in all it worked out.
