When I first opened this deck box and put it together my first impression was how uneven and poorly constructed it is. It does not have good fitting corners or lid. After using this deck box over the summer it has been a huge disappointment requiring constant readjustments just to keep it fitting together securely with minimal usage. I would not recommend this deck box.

This box was purchased to hold pool supplies. The size is great for vacuum hoses and pool toys. I like it so well I ordered another one for storing the pool cover. This box keeps the contents dry and protected. No problem with the top staying open when I want it to or staying closed when I want it to.

This is my second box and I really wish they would improve the quality if the hinges when assembling this box. This is the second time that it is nearly impossible to connect the pins to the hinges. As well, the hinges stretched so much so that white plastic is exposed and the cover is loose. Not too happy about that. Otherwise the box is great for being weather resistant and sturdy (minus the cover and hinges).

Easy to put together. Very sturdy and although it is not guaranteed to be water-proof, it kept my chair cushions totally dry last night during a typical Florida downpour. You must be sure that the top is pushed down into place to assure that it is closed tightly. If not careful, it could let some water in. Note that the color in the picture is misleading as the bottom is a light green color. The top is beige.

I own and used the smaller version of this box for 12 years and it is still great, reliable, dry--simply awesome! We needed a larger version to meet our new patio needs. The new Large Deck Box looks great, has the same great material quality, but does not snap together as water tight and the large lid does not snap shut, so I do not trust it to hold tight and maintain water resistance during high wind and rain....if through this coming summer it performs well, I will update my review.

I have looked several places for a Deck Box, and this is the best that I found. All others cost to much or were not big enough or just cheap made. It is very sturdy and water proff. I have six large chair cushion in it and two foot stool cushions, and I still have room for my table top flowers and things. Yes I would recommend this product to a friend. By the way every one thinks it looks great on our deck, just the right color to blend in.

We were very happy with our Sam's Club online purchase. The product was as represented and delivery was quicker than we anticipated. Assembly of the box--shipped KD--was quick and easy, once the directions on the box were ignored and the indicators molded into the pieces themselves were matched up. This storage box is HUGE!!!

The box quality and size is very good. Very easy to put together. The only negative is that the screws for the hinges were missing in the box, so that is why i gave it a 4 star instead of 5 star rating. Called Rubbermaid and they are sending the missing parts. My husband just used something else in the meantime. Other than that we are happy with it. We are using it to put our outdoor patio furniture cushions over the winter months and pur it in our shed.

I purchased this because of the large size. The the top is the issue. It is difficult to get it to align the lid with the box and have it stay tightly closed without lots of pulling and pushing to align the top and bottom. The plastic hinges only keep the lid from swinging back too far, but don't hold it open so it is constantly falling shut on you while you try and put the cushions inside! It is very frustrating to load and unload the patio cushions for these reasons!

This box is huge. I bought it to store patio furniture cushions in and there is so much room. The assembly was quick and easy and did not require any tools. It does require two people to carry due to the size. It seems to be quite solid and a good size for a seat also. The latch allows for placing a padlock for extra security. I would most definetely consider purchasing another one. Delivery was quick and left at the front door.
