One bowl had a chip on the edge that was small enough I did not see it until the box was thrown out. Used it and got a cut. Thought Pyrex glass was tougher than that. I have 3 usable bowls out of 4, but will use the remaining ones very carefully.

I bought these for my daughter because her teenage son has melted all her plastic containers in the microwave. Now she doesn't have to fear his snack attacks because the bowls are microwavable.

I was looking for better quality bowls with covers that would be easy on, easy off. These are it! They are a little heavier than I thought but are great otherwise. Best yet, no plastic leaking into food!

I have fallen in love with Pyrex all over again since purchasing this set. Great nesting for cupboard storage and keeps items fresh for storage in fridge too!

I got the pyrex 14 piece set and found that it was small and dint serve my purpose... i luckily found this pyre 8 piece set.. it s awesome... esp the 4 qt mixing bowl.

Overall: Love the bowls. I wish the lids were the same color and I wish they were not so heavy, BUT I will sacrifice weight for durability any day. I would buy them again and recommend to friends.

Excellent product for the money. Heavy duty glass mixing bowls that don't chip easily, and they go from mixing to storage in a jiffy. Pyrex will always be a favorite brand of mine.

I love all Pyrex products and was happy to find this set. Like to store leftovers like chili or spaghetti in these glass bowls as opposed to plastic storage containers that will stain. They all nest together which is a space saver.

The price was right for these mixing bowls. The covers and bowls are of good quality. My only complaint would be, that I like deeper bowls. They are wider and not as deep as I would like.

I bought these for gifts. I should have bought a set for myself at this price! Pyrex is a durable brand. These will also work as storage bowls for leftovers.
