This was the 1st time I purchased the sliced loaf. It was very dry. Nothing like the whole loaf. I will never buy it sliced again. The whole unsliced bread is fabulous.

Why do you need to freeze fresh bread and put it in the shelf where it then thaws. The uncut sourdough bread is a true fresh bread, unfrozen as it should be.

The taste of this sourdough is ok, but the bread crust tends to be a little tough to chew. More concerning is that this bread never seems to spoil which I assume means it is loaded with preservatives?

Sam's sourdough bread is absolutely outstanding. The crust has that perfect golden crackle, and the inside is soft, tangy, and beautifully airy. You can tell a lot of care and skill goes into every loaf. It's easily some of the best sourdough I've tasted—fresh, flavorful, and consistently excellent. Highly recommended for anyone who loves real artisan bread.

I recently noticed this at our local Sam's club and picked one up to try. I have purchased Sourdough bread from our local grocery store and found ot to be too tart. Sam's Sourdough was perfect and compares well to similar breads sold at bakeries at a significantly lower cost. It's become a staple purchase for our home every time I visit the store.

If you purchase store-bought, this is an excellent product. From the aroma, texture and taste it is close to homemade.

I'm a nut about a good sourdough ... this bread hits all my points texture and most importantly flavor. I'd recommend anyone to try. And the bonus is its price conscious you definitely get your money's worth... In today's world that's rarity

This loaf was fresh and had real sourdough taste. I have tried other big named labels and this bread was much better. It also stayed fresh longer than I expected.

This bread is so good. Having it already sliced is so convenient. I like buying sourdough bread, but it is hard to slice. So when I saw that it was already sliced that helped me make the decision to by the bread. I will buy the bread again.
