Don't like it sliced. I used to purchased this every time it was available when came as a whole bun. It is a pain to slice it ourselves but we think it tastes better when it is freshly sliced.

I have been buying Members Mark Sourdough Bread for over 5 years and it had the strongest taste of Sourdough bread on the market. It was delicious! About a week ago I purchased two loaves of the sliced sourdough bread and notice it had a different shape. When I opened the loaf and tasted it the flavor of sourdough was completely gone. I returned both loaves to Sams Club and received a full refund. I will never purchase this sourdough bread again unless the company restores the former product with the hard crust and round loaf. Too bad, because if other customers do not like the new flat lackluster taste Sams Club will lose more business.

This, to me, is top notch sourdough bread reminiscent of the kind I enjoyed for years in the San Francisco Bay area, but have not been able to lately. Until now. Thanks, Sam's! One very important request: PLEASE keep offering the pre-sliced version so that I may continue to easily enjoy sandwiches without having to slice it myself. I'm lousy at that.

The old sourdough bread was indeed sourdough bread. What you are trying to sell now is not. It has no taste, its dry and crumbly. The crust is entirely different than old bread and they are slicing it too thick. Please bring back the old recipe!!!!!!!Q
