Our Red Velvet is made up of grapes from some of the finest vineyards in California. This wine shows a heady nose of chocolate, deep rich blackberries, ed fruits, and a creamy mocha finish that is unmistakable in its intensity and length. It's reminiscent of a blackberry chocolate cupcake with a mocha coulis. Enjoy with sweet and spicy Hoison steak, a barbecue bacon cheeseburger or even dark chocolate fondue.

I dont drink red wines very often, but when I do I really enjoy the red velvet from cupcake. Its very smooth, still has that red wine bitterness but its much sweeter than other reds. Its definitely a good dessert wine in my opinion, and you cant beat the affordable pricetag either!

One of the first red wines I tried when I ventured into the world of red wine. It's fine, but it's a little too sweet and acidic for my palate now. It's also a little overpriced, in my opinion. There are many options that are way better for way less.

The name & labeling drew me in but the Red Velvet was not for me. If you enjoy a bold robust wine flavor with almost a chocolate aftertaste you will enjoy this. If not skip it as Cupcake offers many other wines you will love. For the quality, the price itself does make this wine worth trying.

I would like to give this another star just for the fact that it had an okay feeling, but the taste, for me, was nearly unbearable, and I had to drink about half, if not more, to feel anything. I just suffered through as to not waste money. Was disappointed, too, as a lot of reviews I saw were positive.

This is honestly the best affordable wine out there. It's pretty dangerous since it's so easy to drink. It has good flavor, doesn't get too bitter or acidic, and like I said it's cheap. So maybe not an impress-your-date wine but an easy girls night wine for sure.

This wine is amazing! You may not want to share with your friends it's that good. Has hints of chocolate as a finish, it's a semi-dry wine but not to dry. Goes very well with red meat or as an after dinner drink with a chocolate dessert. I would buy this wine again.

Yummy! I love red velvet everything. Typically I am stuck in my ways with wine and don't go out of my way for a desert wine as I hate swèt wine. I like it dry. This however I don't feel is a wine...like it is , you can tell but it is unique enough that after dinner it is like a little liquid dessert along side whatever your actual dessert is. I totally recommend it. Even if you only like dry wine because same here I only drink dry red wine but I will in occasion enjoy a glass of this after dinner

I haven't bought this wine in quite sometime. I only tried it one time and was not impressed. I had an expectation that this was going to have a good red velvet taste. And I don't think it did. It was more dry than I expected as well. I wouldn't recommend this but if you like a more dry red.. you just might like it.
