I'm not a huge fan of red wine, but Cupcake Red Velvet wine was recommended to me by a friend. This wine is a little pricey compared to what I normally buy, but I can usually find a good deal on it at the liquor store. It's very smooth and goes well with a medium rare steak :) 

I think the cupcake Vineyard red velvet wine is awesome it's like a little dessert in your mouth The Taste is awesome I don't think there is anything that can compare to it first time connoisseur of this brand yes I would recommend this to others if they enjoy red wine it is so nice and just delicious

My mother had an open house a few years ago and got this as a gift. We love sweet wines and when something is "Cupcake Red Velvet", we were expecting something a little sweet. Nope. Very dry red wine. If you like dry, you'll like this! Just not my taste.

I thoroughly enjoy my occasional glass of wine. Cupcake brand is one I will turn to when my first choice is unavailable. I prefer a drier wine without a strong fruit after taste. Cupcake is on the drier side, which I enjoy, but in my opinion it carries too much of a fruity flavor which is why I gave it a 3.

I was told at a wine store that this wine is more of a mix of two different red wines. Other then the fact that it leaves a bit of red on my lips even after I've finished drinking I loved it. If you enjoy bitter red wines this is pretty good. I've tried many cheaper bitter red wines and the price point and quality of this so far has been great. I'd definitely suggest giving this a try you just might like it.

A good wine at a an affordable price. I really like reds and this is a great blend. It has great flavor depth, but doesn't leave you with dry mouth after drinking. It's richness is perfect for a relaxing night and I love that I can also find it at my local grocery store.

This wine is a great option for an affordable price. I compare this wine to a Robert Mondavi for quality. I have purchased this on several occasions for dinner parties or gifts for a host. I purchased from Total Wine at a great price and will purchase again.

Let's start by saying it wasn't truly bad, however I was excited to try this wine because the label said it had notes of chocolate and blackberries. But drinking this room temperature was hard to drink down. I had to add an ice cube to cut the harshness of the taste.

This is honestly the best affordable wine out there. It's pretty dangerous since it's so easy to drink. It has good flavor, doesn't get too bitter or acidic, and like I said it's cheap. So maybe not an impress-your-date wine but an easy girls night wine for sure.

When I think of #redvelvet I think of rich, buttery and sweet flavors. This #redwine had absolutely none of those flavors. It was very bitter & it upset my stomach after a few sips. It was not sweet in anyway. If you you are looking for a sweet red wine skip this one.
