[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received these diapers in size 2 complimentary in exchange for my honest review. Size wise they seem to work great except the back may be too loose for our girl. She’s pretty long and thin so not every diaper works for her. For reference, she is about 14 lbs and 26”. We usually go for long and narrow diapers, as shorter and wider ones leaked too often. The Member’s Mark diapers seem to be both long and wide so they’re pretty versatile. We’ve had the sticky tabs on the most narrow setting so there’s a lot of room to grow into. Honestly, a size smaller might have been a better fit for us but we were using size 2 in other brands prior to receiving these so we didn’t think to size down. The only issue we’ve had is number two leaking out of the back. When she had number two while in tummy time, there was no leaking through the front or the legs, which I was very impressed with. But when I carried her to the changing table, it leaked out through the back somehow. It’s hard to tell if it’s because of our baby’s size or if others would have the same issue. When it’s just number one, there hasn’t been any problem, the diaper seems very absorbent. On a positive note, I appreciate all the design details. It seems like they put a lot of thought into it. My favorite one is the double wet indicator line - it makes it easier to spot the change in color, especially on a diaper with a pattern. Also, the diapers come in 2 patterns and I liked the patterns are mixed in each sleeve so you can open one at a time and still have a variety. Overall, I’d recommend and buy these in the future. There’s a lot I like about these, but would try to size down compared to other brands if baby’s very thin.

They went up on the price and put fewer diapers in the box when they changed packaging.

I used the product for several years, but the past 1+ year noticed the strong chemical smell. A petroleum based, diesel fuel, volatile organic chemical mixture smell that permeates the pads. If I remove each pad from the plastic sleeve, and invert each pad, and let them air out for a few days. The chemical odor does dissipate a little. But I finally stopped using this product. When I noted the smell lingering on the skin. I have tried the #3 and the #4 size. Both sizes had the chemical odor, some packages were stronger than others.

Size newborn-4 were great! Since going to size 5, my baby has the water beads on her even after a single pee? Not sure if we got a bad batch or what.

We never had any blowouts or leaks, but they broke my bay out and caused an eczema outbreak which no other diapers have done.
