No USB-C

I've bought every model of Aftershokz/Shokz headphone that has come out in the last 5 years. The headphones are generally great, but the most massive day-to-day usability issue is that these have a proprietary magnetic connector instead of just using USB-C, and to add insult to injury, the other end of the proprietary connector is still USB-A. This isn't 2016 any more, no one wants to have a dedicated charger for one special device. An easy solution here would be to let this charge over USB-C and include a magnetic adapter that people can choose to use or lose, and as backup they can still use the universal charging standard. Or figure out how to squeeze wireless charging coils in somehow. This is just a bad solution.

Enjoy a bike ride with music

Thanks to sales team at Sea Otter Classic 2022. Never liked wearing headphones because I like to hear cars coming from behind and people on the trails while riding my bike. Shelby (team member)had me sold. Works well tested while riding and I could hear people and still enjoy music especially on the long up hill grinds.

The sound/ volume is very low and the material looks weak and flimsy. I like my older ones better. Those were sturdier and the the sound/volume was a little louder. Since they don't make these as before I think I'll try another brand another time. That's too bad because I loved this brand.

Very happy with these headphones.

Very happy with these headphones. I had Aeroplex previously. They were great, but only lasted for about 2.5 hours at full volume which I need because I am cycling. The new ones last well beyond my three hour rides which is all I have asked of them. I also went for the smaller ones which I also like because there isn't the overhang I had with the Aeroplex. Couldn't be happier.

This my 2nd pair of

This my 2nd pair of these. The first one was the one the the microphone close to your mouth. When a call would come in the caller would say you sound like your muffled not clear to understand. Theses are very pricey, but I've tried all different ones. Some made my ears hurt, or the they fall out of your ears and you lose them. I really like that these have nothing to do with putting something in my ears. Very easy to pair and wear, and the sound is Great!

Headphones are extremely comfortable, but

Headphones are extremely comfortable, but sound quality and loudness was underwhelming. Walking through a busy warehouse was too much to hear anything with these, even with the volume all the way up. Once the volume was all the way up, distortion began. For the price, these lack the sound quality I expected. If you are looking for extreme comfort and will mainly listen in low-noise environments, then these headphones will do you good.

Really great headphones

I run at night and on a road that is moderately high traffic (not as much when I run) and the speed limit is 55 mph, so I need to hear these cars coming. These work great for that and I can still hear my music great. They are very comfortable and easy to use. I haven't tested the battery life yet, but have been great on my shorter runs (longest I've gone so far is just 3.5 miles) and there was still quite a bit of charge left. There isn't a way that I ve noticed to see how much charge is left though. The voice when you turn it on just give a generic "high", "low", etc.

Love My Shokz!

I have been a loyal Shokz customer for several years. They are so comfortable I often forget I am wearing them. They are perfect for running, biking and general use. I appreciate the comfort and ability to hear what is happening around me. Call quality is excellent as well. I prefer them to my car's Bluetooth connection. Customer support is excellent! Responsive, professional and courteous. Thank you for an outstanding product!

Smaller size, bigger boom, better battery!

My 3rd set of AfterShokz / Shokz. Each set lasted past the two year warranty with near everyday wear. This time the upgrade in battery life, coupled with the smaller size of the mini were both desired features. The smaller band doesn't get caught in my jacket collar or hats and the bass has been much improved! I've been dealing with tinnitus, related to military service, for many years. I use the Shokz to help by keeping music in the background. I can keep the volume low, like the music in stores, (in the background). A quick touch w/ my left finger pauses/mutes the sound in most apps so you can focus on a coworker or an announcement or anything else in your surroundings. Works well while wearing earplugs in noisy environments. Did I mention this is the 3rd set, I've purchased, in about 6 or 7 yrs.

Open Run Pro

This is my second pair. After 3 years I wore out the first and both are great. I just wish you would route the microphone back through the headset so I could ditch my in-ear hearing aids. The bone technology would be much greater than just amplifying to an already damaged eardrum.
