Overall, these are pretty good headphones for running. They do put some pressure behind my ears that gets uncomfortable after a while and they have a large loop behind the neck that sticks out the back pretty far that can be in the way. I measured before buying to make sure I wouldn't need the smaller version and was well within their measurements for the larger size, but now I'm wondering if the smaller ones wouldn't fit me better. I am an ultra-marathon runner so I always try to ensure that all of my equipment is comfortable for the long-run and fits as perfectly and compactly to my body as possible, so I was hoping for a bit better fit and comfort with these. But it is nice to be able to listen while running and still have the ability to hear my surroundings well. Setup was pretty easy.

For safely I've never run with ear buds. I used a vest and just played music on the phone. When I moved from WA state to Phoenix, I soon realized just how much heat that phone on my chest added to the already 90+ degree summer mornings. So I invested in an upgraded running watch that stores music and my Shokz. I absolutely love them!! I can still hear the birds chirping and the cars and talk to other runners and my music sounds perfect! It's almost weird how clearly I can hear both. I love how free it feels and even more important in this climate how much cooler I am without having my phone. Love Shokz will never go back!

I have been a loyal Shokz customer for several years. They are so comfortable I often forget I am wearing them. They are perfect for running, biking and general use. I appreciate the comfort and ability to hear what is happening around me. Call quality is excellent as well. I prefer them to my car's Bluetooth connection. Customer support is excellent! I must admit, I love the prior model with AfterShock. It worked very well in ALL my runs. I’m a bit older man at the age of 70. My runs range from 6 to 14 miles and can last from 1.5 to 3.5 hours. I run in hot and humid weather which I usually end up drenched in sweat. My AfterShock headset never failed me. So, going to this new headset I was hoping it would somehow better then the one I owned. Fortunately, I believe it is. The sounds are excellent. Currently, it’s winter time here in Nashville. TN, so I’ll have to wait a few more months to test out our hot summer days but I am hopeful. I trust all will work out just. One improvement would be to have a smaller headset.

I love these things. They are great. They don’t fall off when moving your head. The battery life is amazing. They sound amazing. You really don’t notice that you are wearing them. I use these headphones for everything, work, car rides, working out, at home. Yes they are kinda pricey but you are definitely paying for some amazing quality headphones. 10/10 would recommend.

Very comfortable headphones, sometimes I forget I'm even wearing them! Great for active lifestyles and for work. Also nice if you need to be able to hear some of the things going on around you along with your music. Battery life is pretty good as well. Biggest downside sound quality is just decent but not superb and the volume maxes out lower than I wish it did in some situations.

I started with the OpenRun and I use my Shokz for everything - working out, cleaning and repairs around the house, and general phone calls. Overall, these are great! The sound quality is better than my OpenRun headset. I am very happy with my purchase except when I uses certain features on the Duolingo foreign language learning app. The bluetooth lags when I use the practice conversation tools. There is such a delay going between the speaker and mic that sounds get cut off. I usually have to cut the headphones off to do those practice sessions. This defeats the purpose of having the headset because the goal is to have my hands free and the flexibility to move about the room. I never had bluetooth delay issues with the OpenRuns. I hope this can be fixed. Otherwise, the headphone are great!

The open run pros work great when they are new. After about a year the transducers start to vibrate a bit so you get buzzing sounds when the lower notes play. It would be nice if the app had an actual purpose. All it does currently is switch between voice and music mode, there is not much difference between the two

Purchased yesterday to replace a broken pair of night time headphones. Did not interfere with full cpap mask. Tried out on pickleball courts, had the music while still being able to hear my partner on the court. Looking forward to more play with them!

I had the open run minis and decided to get the open run pro minis because bthey were supposed to have settings for voice and music. The voice setting wasn’t satisfactory . The fit was different from the minis so now at the same volume level there is buzz feeling in front of my ears. With all of the Shokz they make the back of my ears sore. The positives are very long battery , much longer than my ear buds ,Convenient open ears to hear surroundings, and great for phone calls.
