I should have ditched cable way before now. So easy to get up and running. I'm really enjoying Roku and I'm saving money. The interface works great. I have had YouTube jam up on me but it was easy to reset once I figured it out. A few quirks with the user interface but I'm happy.

I have 7 Roku sticks and have helped others get them. I still prefer them due to fewer wires where the TV is hanging on the wall and I use one when traveling. But what an improvement for the living room! It responds faster, but I don't know how to prove or measure that. Big deals for me are the lighted and rechargeable remote control, the impressive way that it connects to my wireless headphones, and the remote control finding feature. I'm truly impressed.

My wife and I are longtime fans of Roku, and greatly value the user experience it provides. Simple and reliable. Motivated by the imminent arrival of houseguests, we recently moved our primary (family room) Ultra (2020) player to a spare TV in our guest suite, and replaced it with an Ultra (2024). Both players use hardwired Ethernet connections for smooth streaming. It goes without saying, we liked our Ultra enough to buy it again. While we anticipated improvements in the newer model, reflecting its further development, I’m delighted to report Ultra (2024) has exceeded our expectations. Specifically, we LOVE the new backlit remote (more so, after setting the “rocket” button to launch our favorite apps; SlingTV and YouTube). Most surprisingly, not to mention, most welcome, our picture quality noticeably improved as a result of Ultra (2024) detecting and optimizing our Samsung TV’s High Dynamic Range (HDR) display capabilities. My wife likened it to getting a new TV. The bottom line is Ultra (2024j is a thoughtfully conceived and well-executed product. Go Roku!

My first exposure to Roku was purchasing a Roku TV. I fell in love with their front end operating system, then bought two Roku Ultra’s rather than using my other brand’s operating systems to navigate and stream. Roku makes it super straight forward and easy to setup and use. Very impressed with the speed of the navigation and how intuitive it is. Roku Rocks!

This purchase was my 3rd Roku Ultra so obviously I like it. Especially since the remote now has additional features since as volume control. My original one does not. The remote nearly eliminates the TV’s original remote and I enjoy that feature as well.

We purchased a brand new Smart TV. Hated the interface of using the Smart TV controls. Streamlined all of our channels and premium channels, with a remote provided by the internet company we chose. Hated the interface of using the internet company's controls. Purchased the Roku Ultra. Setup too less than 2 MINUTES! Whoever programmed the software and interface for Roku devices "thought like an end-user, how they would want setup to be and how to use the interface to watch what they wanted". It's perfect. I would recommend a Roku device to anyone that wants to make watching TV easier, and more enjoyable. I now have 5 Roku boxes in my home (one on each TV).

I have a smart TV with Roku built in and it was getting so slow (it's 9 years old). So I bought this Roku ultra, plugged it into the HDMI Slot and it works great! It's so fast and I love that I can speak into the remote! It makes searching and entering passwords so much easier! Just replacing the Roku part was so much cheaper than buying a whole new TV since there's nothing wrong with the TV itself.

I've been a Roku user for several years and I have encouraged people to get the Ultra, and THIS Ultra is even better! Backlit remote, very fast responses due to upgraded processor & memory, and yet pleasantly familiar! Buy this version if you're looking for a Roku device.

I was having trouble with my old Roku staying connected to the Internet. In fact, it wouldn’t even connect to the Internet. It would only connect via my iPhone. I thought the problem was my Roku when in fact it was my ISP. Long story short I bought the New Roku hooked it up and it wouldn’t connect either. come to find out it was my gateway. I had an extra TV that didn’t have a Roku and was not a smart TV so I hooked my old Roku up to it and now every TV in the house is either a smart TV or a TV with a Roku unit. Now I can watch all of my streaming subscriptions from any room in the house.
