Seems all the 5-10KW gas generators for the past decade plus come out of the same place in that they are have the same guts though engine and generator sizes change; only the name plate and front panels seem to vary. My decade old 6500W Champion guts are practically the same as this Westinghouse 7500W. This is a reasonably decent unit and I especially like while in my bed to stop at night and battery start the generator the next morning using with the remote FOB. The display provides voltage, hertz, total run time, and run time since last started. BUT, it lacks the CRITICAL display of WATTS being drawn. I never know when I am getting close to overloading the generator and end up having my home drop off line throughout the day. Really guys, it NEEDS a watt meter.... My second grip are the two dual 120V GFI outlets. I will likely have to replace them. Using extension cords resulted in the GFIs popping ALL THROUGH the day; even when the load was only a few amps (<1K W)! They are ridiculously sensitive. I was borrowing a 3500W 120V gas generator experiencing NONE of these problems. I got past them by wiring the 240V into my home. My service was cut while doing an electrical expansion in my home. We have been waiting for the electrical inspector now for two weeks! Oregon is trying to be a smaller version of failed California.

Seven days without power, never again ! Managed to survive the latest storm with a 40 year old generator. A nightmare but better than nothing. This new Wgen 7500 will run my whole house no problem, no headaches. It will keep my family healthy and safe.

The generator was delivered 5 days ago. I unboxed and assembled in a few minutes. Added oil and gas. Started on first try. It's been powering my travel trailer reliably for the last 5 days. Electric start and remote start are so much better than pulling a starter cord.

We've had this generator for a year now. Not only is it esthetically pleasing- it's a really pretty color blue, but it also has a pull handle and nice big wheels so it's functional too. It's extremely heavy. Handle is a must. It has plenty of outlets, ample supply wattage, even a remote to start it which is amazing when there's snow on the ground & it's cold outside. We couldn't be happier.

I purchased this item a week ago and it was delivered today (07/08/2022). After my son and I unboxed it I was pleased that my generator arrived without any dents or dings. I had read previous reviews that other customers received their generator with dents. I was anxious to put my new generator to the test (it is currently hurricane season). After putting the wheels and bottom parts on the generator (extremely easy to do) I added the oil and gas and plugged it directly into my breaker. My home is a 2 bedroom, 1 and 1/2 bath with a huge den area. I have air conditioner window units in just about every room. My generator started with ease (nice and strong). I am extremely proud to say that EVERY appliance in my home worked! I am overjoyed with my purchase and I strongly recommend others to purchase the 7500c generator!

Single mom here.....I was able to assemble this generator by myself. No issues tipping it over onto its side to put on the wheels/supports. Instructions were very clear and I love the key fob for the remote start. Hardest part was moving the generator off the pallet into my garage. Once I did that-I cut down the cardboard sides to slide the generator around so I could tip it over. This is much quieter than my Hyundai generator I used to have and so.much.easier to start.

Perfect complete back-up unit for normal home during outages. We have MANY power outages & our old generator was stolen. Surfed the web for many days prior to purchasing my Westinghouse WGen7500 unit. Well constructed, more features for the price, & great reviews from seller CUSTOMERS. Smooth running performance & quieter than old unit. I am almost impossible to satisfy & I highly recommend this generator.

This is a fully featured generator with a large capacity. I like that it is easy starting - either using the battery or the remote start fob. It was easy to assemble, mainly just installing the feet & wheels, adding engine oil & fuel, and hooking up the battery. It has four 120V plugs on the side and will also plug into 220/240V outlet. I bought this primarily to run our well pump, refrigerators, and chest freezer during power outages (which are more frequent now with climate change) but we should be able to run a few lights and keep our phones and computer charged also. We haven't had a power outage since we received it a week ago, but we're ready now.

great product at a great price, this generator gave us hope well our electricity was out. it powered our heat and refrigerator well our power was out. has more than enough power to run the main things you use everyday. it starts up very easy and even has a remote start fob. thank you westinghouse for making a great product at a great price that is reliable.

Bought this to replace a smaller generator I had been using with power cords, was looking for something to power the whole house in case of a power outage of which we have had several over the past few years - many lasting over three days! This fit the bill, easy to start and plenty of power - I cannot say enough about this generator. Starts every time and good clean power output.
