I would have given this 5 stars but the wheels mount with pins and washers and the weld on one side was too close to the washer and I needed to grind the washer a bit to get the pin in. Overall I am very happy with the purchase so far, but don't have a lot of time on it. Nice open chassis in case it does need maintenance in the future.

purchased for standby power {hurricane season}. arrived in good condition. assembly was moderately difficult for one person, but with a lever and some 2x4s for supports, wheels and feet went on without any problems. lightly greased the axles and a few drops of oil to the bearings.....and good to go. filled with oil, checked plug gap, attached both battery cables and tried to pull-start. no go!!! tried electric start..still no go!!! female voice says," is there gas in it?" now, it starts easily and runs well !! a good value!!

Just received this item 3 days ago. After running through the very quick set-up and adding the supplied oil, the generator started right up. I am rating as four stars because I can't speak to the prolonged usage of the generator at this point; however, the quality upon un-boxing appears to be very good. The battery came charged and the remote starter functions from at least 10 feet away. I didn't think to test it any further than that. I am hoping this unit will act as a backup supply to my house and keep my furnace, fridge, and well pump functional during power outages.

I bought this just Under a month ago. Fortunately I haven't had to use it yet, as I purchased due to the high number of power outages at my new home. However, the assembly and instructions were very user friendly. The start up and initial test were flawless. This is refreshing these days. Thanks for a pleasurable experience!

Bought the Westinghouse 7500 watt generator after reading the review by consumers report magazine. The generator came assembled except for the wheels. The quick start guide is simple to follow. After following the directions I pushed the start button and the generator cranked right up. Extremely happy with my purchase of this generator and would recommend it to everyone living in Hurricane prone areas.

This generator fits all our needs for our home when we lose our power. Easy to set up and nice to look at. Easy to operate and easy to change the oil when needed. It is not too loud and again easy to operate. No worries any more. Would recommend this generator to all family and friends.

I bought this generator to prepare for the next bad weather power outage. I never want to be caught unprepared again. This generator is reliable and very fuel efficient. I highly recommend the Westinghouse 7500W/9500W. It provides the power you need.

Just what I wanted and expected from reviews I read. I had looked at many self starting portable generators, but none matched the features and number of high ranked reviews the Westinghouse had. The fact the unit will automatically try to crank 3 times was added bonus I did not know about. ( have not had this occur yet because it has cranked on the first try every time.)

Ordered on line and received in a couple days. Everything needed to start using was in the box. Easily assembled. Unique feature is the remote start as we will be using for temporary power for our boat lift and will be able to start and lower the lift from the water.

We run a semi-trailer leasing company so we needed a versatile, portable generator for our service truck. Our mechanic loves the remote start so he can be outside the service truck and simply hit a button and continue working with out having waste time.
