Primary use will be for backup power for our home. Features of this unit make it well suited for this use, especially when we complete installation of a transfer switch. Setup was quick and easy. Manual is detailed, easy to understand, and appears to be thorough.

I purchased this generator for the upcoming winter season. Instructions were clear and easy to follow. it started right up the first time. I used the electric start and then the remote fob from inside my house. After countless searches, this is the one I wanted.

After researching and price checking on my dying phone I found my Westinghouse WGen 7500 cheaper than I was finding smaller 5500w units. The last time we had a power outage we had to get our neighbor to start our old generator with MUCH difficulty. This generator had minimal assembly required and started up like a dream with the electric remote start. It was also much quieter than our old generator. Very happy with this purchase!

I purchased this because we have frequent powers outrages after storms. We have an all electric home, and this powered everything. We did not use the baseboard heaters, but we did use space heaters. We were able to cook, use lights, watch television. Excellent!

Setup was easy. Love the remote. Got me through a 48 hour power outage in Texas after 2021 winter ice storm. Powered refrigerator, microwave, several space heaters, electric blanket, essentially everything we needed in our house except the heat pump (space heaters took care of our heating needs).

We bought this in January, and have not had the chance to use it yet but it has run good on our test runs! It is a huge peace of mind to have this incase we need it! We did need an electrician friend to hook it up to our house. We did choose to purchase the power cord to hook it up as well as it did not come with that.

The generator arrived in two days. I did minor assembly, added oil, gas, checked battery charge and it started instantly. It appears to have automatic choke. The remote start fab worked first time. I hope to not need the three year warranty, but it is nice to have the peace of mind. It promises to be fuel efficient with ample power to run the whole house (except electric range- I will get induction hot plate).
