Better than expected

I've had this unit for one month and during that time two power outages. No problems. Starts easily and quickly with remote button. Does not change speed or noise much with changing loads. Adapts to changing loads well. Lots of useful features. Seems rugged. I run it with propane, fed by a 50 gallon tank with regulator. All I need to do is push the remote button and then switch my transfer box in my basement. Beautiful. Everything's been thought through. It's inside a metal shed, set on a wood floor.

This Generator has plenty of bang for the buck !

This generator had everything I could ask for as for features and the remote start was an added feature that an amputee with one leg could surely use. Its seems to be very well built , with a heavy duty frame. I am glad I bought this generator , I'm sure with proper maintenance it will provide years of service.

Love the remote start/stop

Easy to assemble. Started right up once gas and oil was added, Love the remote, it will really come in handy when camping . We did purchase it more for emergancies, the power outages seem to go for days now so we are very happy to have a gennie with a larger gas tank than our last one .

Very happy we found this generator

When our power went out during hurricane Beryl, we scrambled to find any generator from a nearby store. We stumbled upon this model as the last one available, and we are so glad we did. This unit is so easy to get running from the very start. Including some starter oil in the box was very handy. The documentation explained everything I needed to know, and the startup procedure is dead simple. Changing the oil at the required intervals is pretty painless. The power output is consistent and plenty for our needs. We had a refrigerator, chest freezer, portable 6000BTU AC unit, and some random chargers plugged into it all at once, and we had plenty of Wattage left to spare. I think we'll consider getting an interconnect to our home power system and run it that way if we want in the future. We are so glad we stumbled upon this generator, and we would happily recommend it to anyone!

Can't wait for the power to go out

Just got this generator after weeks of research. It was consistently one of the top rated in performance and reliability. It started right up first push of the electric start and ran quiet and steady for an hour with no issues. Can't wait for the power to go out to use it for real.

7500 remote. Very good generator for the price!

I just purchased this a week ago read the manual completely added the oil, gassed it up flipped the on switch hit the start button on the remote and it fired right up with no issues. Plugged several different power items on the 120v side and work perfect. have not tried the 240 side yet but planning on having an electrician come out to make a hook up to the breaker box on my house if so needed. I have a small to mid size house so it should power the entire house except the central air but I'm ok with that.

Great Product

I bought the Westinghouse WGen7500 generator after some exhaustive research. I plan to use it as a backup generator for my home for storms and other loss of power situations. I purchased online. The product reached my home a day early. It was easy to set up and very mobile. My initial test run was perfect. I am very happy with this purchase.

Nice unit

Unit not run yet. Two small problems assembling: Battery connection bolts because of design somewhat hard to thread the nut on due to location. Would have been nice if instructions said how much oil to add with original filling. All it said was "add till full" which required seveal checks to make that determination to avoid over filling. Took the full quart but it would have been nice if it said "dump in the full quart of oil." Perhaps more later after I run the unit. So far,so good.

Easy Start

I bought this generator to provide emergency power to my home during power failures. It arrived in great condition, no dings or scratches; took only a few minutes to put wheels and feet on, connect the battery and fill with oil and gas. Generator started immediately. Transfer switch will be installed next week and I am looking forward to testing this very nice generator out with full load.

Great purchase

I love the product and pretty quiet. There is no visible choke and wouldn't start on it's own initially. I called Westinghouse and they told me how to choke it, also the pull start is hard to access, giving it is blocked by a panel when pulling. Now it is running flawlessly! Love it.
