When researching generators there were a handful that kept showing up on the best of lists (CNet, Popular Mechanics, etc.) and the Westinghouse was one of them. What drew me to this product were the comments related to ease of set up and use. After having the unit delivered, and the electrician installing a 30 amp outlet, I can completely agree with everyone else. From the moment that the unit was unpackaged to when myself and the electrician tested the system, everything was clearly labeled, intuitive, and made a first time generator owner feel much more comfortable. The only way I could describe it is seamless. Three switch flips on the generator, two in my house, and everything was powered up.

The generator supply stores gave the WGen7500 an A+ and reviews from 90% plus of buyers gave if 4.5 - 5 stars . All would recommend the generator. Other well know brands were ranked lower and with more complaints. Received and added fuel and it started immediately. Not problem. And the Data Center immediately registered volt output. I live in Florida and purchased it for hurricane power outages. Need something dependable that will work when needed. The WGen7500 fulfills my all needs. Very pleased. No regrets. Would make same decision again.

Just received my new WGen7500 Generator. Excellent shipping pack and secure boxing. Arrived in perfect condition. Assembly was easy and quick. All components on unit are Top Shelf!! User Manual is easy to understand and very complete. Love the remote start switch. Looks to be built to last a very, very long time. Great buy!!!!

Powerful and less noisy than other generators with this much power. Have used it twice to power our house and it is strong enough for refrigerator, freezer, TV, lights as needed, ceiling fans as needed and washer machine. I am very pleased with this generator. Very easy to use.

I had been toying with the idea of buying a generator for several years, but kept putting it off. I finally bit the bullet and got this one. Boy am I glad I did! A severe thunderstorm with 80 mph (hurricane force) winds took all all the power in my beautiful little town of Pleasant Garden, NC. NC in August is HOT! I have 2 freezers full of food prepared for winter and the power may be off several days. This little gem gives me 12 hours run time on a tank of gas. It's a life saver!

I brought this in the event of another power outage. My power was out for three days from the aftermath of Tropical Storm Isaias and I needed much more power than my current generators could handle ( 3800 watts Max) I have a large reef tank that needs to be kept running. My new Generator, Westinghouse WGen 7500 should do the trick. Nicely packed, delivered undamaged, and quick set up. Recommended

I BOUGHT THIS ONLINE. IT STARTED FIRST TIME OUT OF THE BOX USING EITHER THE BATTERY OR THE RECOIL STARTER. I USE IT FOR POWER FAILURE BACKUP IN MY HOME. HANDLES POWER DELIVERY AND STARTUP OK FOR TWO FRIDGES, TWO WATER PUMPS AND A FEW POWER SOCKETS. HAVE NOT TRIED IT WITH THE FIRE SPRINKLER PUMP FOR OBVIOUS REASONS, BUT SHOULD BE OK.

Generator was packaged carefully. Came with simple wheel and rubber feet install instructions. Came with a quart of small engine oil and a spout. Has remote start, a battery charger and comprehensive operating instructions. Nice job Westinghouse. Not your dad's generator :)

I bought this generator about a year ago pretty much for the price it's a 7500 continuous and 9500 peak I got it mostly for hurricane's ..living in se texas tends to bring em but it's also been good for me through freezes, floods ,blackouts you name it ....any way I've had to run mine for a week plus more than a few times and so far no complaints I think it's honestly one of the smartest investments I've made.....runs half my 3 bed two bath house and 32 ft camper no problem

Reliable generator with a ton of power. Easy to move around with the wheels. No longer have to worry about food spoiling or being uncomfortable during long outages, which is so nice with 4 young kids. Plan on calling an electrician to get a transfer switch.
