With less than an hour of run time on it so far I can only say what I see looks good. It has a number of great features, built rugged, easy to start and plenty of power. I wanted something that we could start without going out in the storm and without pulling a starter cord at zero degrees outside temp. The wireless remote start is a plus and works great. The unit came with some needed tools for setup, oil, and very clear instructions.

This generator started right up with the first push of a button. I love the fact they included a battery charger for when it sits through the winter. Keeps battery from going dead. I especially love the remote start. We have a generator shed and the fact that i can start it up without every going outside is a great feature. As you all know, most of us loose power when the weather is bad. The auto chock is a great feature also.

This is a nice mid-level generator that comes at a reasonable price. I bought this for hurricane season in NC. I was realistic in calculating the wattage I would need to endure a power outage (no AC, running genny around three to four hours a day to keep frig and freezer cold) and found this generator to be very highly rated and capable. I'll be installing a transfer switch to avoid using extension cords. Be aware this is not a whole house model. Recognize what you need and purchase accordingly.

This generator was recommended by several people (including 2 electicians). Having gone through Hurricanes Andrew, Wilma and Irma, we finally decided to purchace a generator. I feel so much better heading into hurricane season knowing that we won't have to go through days or weeks without power.

After the hurricane last week, we were without power for a couple of long days. I borrowed a portable generator from a friend and finally realized how much relief they offer. Afterward, I began searching for a portable generator which had all the features we want and capacity we need. The WGen7500 has it all and for a fantastic price. Shipping was very quick and assembly was very simple. We love it.

First week we had an 8 hour power outage at our home. Not rare where we live. I did a detailed spreadsheet to make sure it was sized for my needs and it runs about 40% of max normally. I do not plug in Freezer or Fridge until the temps alarm to keep the fuel usage to a minimum. Love this generator.

I spent days reviewing the many generators that are available. I considered the price as well as the output wattage, features, but more importantly I wanted quality and reliability. I could have bought a cheaper generator or a higher wattage output for the same price, but after much research and reading countless reviews I decided to go with the WGen7500. I unpacked the generator and followed the instructions. It was easy to assemble and the directions were clear on how to prepare it to run. After checking with Westinghouse I opted to not use the oil they sent with the generator and decided to purchase synthetic oil instead. On a side not I also chose to use 93 octane gas. I also wanted a model with a manual start, push button start, and remote control option. Once I got everything ready to go the moment of truth came to fire it up. I hit the push button start and it cranked up within seconds. The noise level was more that reasonable. The engine ran smooth and the vibration was minimal which reinforced to me that it is quality made. After checking all the breakers and such I ran an extension cord and tested it out. It worked fantastic. I let it run for a bit and used the remote control to shut it down. I fired it back up using the remote control a few hours later and it started right back up. I know have some peace of mind come the next ice storm that I will be able provide the necessities for my family when we loose power again. I will be calling an electrician to come out and wire my panel so I can plug the generator in and run the necessities in the house. I am very happy with the decision I made. Like I said it is not the cheapest and you can certainly buy ones cheaper with higher output wattage, but buyer be ware. Just by reading reviews alone you will quickly find out that cheaper is not always better. Quality and durability are more important. You can have higher wattage but it does you no good if you generator does not start or wont stay on!

Only have to install the wheels, connect the battery, add the oil/gas and start right up. Start to finish this process took less than 10 minutes to complete. Started on the first try. Purchased primarily as a backup for power outages. Has all the power I will need and it's relatively quiet compared to similar units I have used.

I only bought this generator last week and have not had the opportunity to put it to actually use yet, but it cranked up and ran great straight out of the box!.. I am familiar with Westinghouse products and I know that I will get many years of great service from it!...

We received our WGen7500 Gasoline Only generator a week ago. We have not completely loaded it up with all of our appliances (food truck). We did fill with gas and oil and pull started in one pull. Not crazy load for such a big generator. We loaded with a couple of small appliances and it worked. We will definitely give a better review once we start using on a regular basis.
