We have had the Tempur-LuxeAdapt Medium Hybrid for only a month. At this point we are really liking the head and feet in a zero gravity position. We do change this position after relaxing to a position on the bed that is doable for sleeping. We feel comfortable most of the night, waking up without a lot of the pain that used to be there in our lower back and neck. The only complaint about this bed is that if you are a hot sleeper, you will definitely be hot, this mattress definitely holds the heat in. We have the cooling sheets, they really don't cool. We have tried a cooling mattress pad, still doesn't work. At this point, we are not sure if we will exchange this mattress in for a mattress that may not be as hot.

I can sleep on my bad shoulder with no problems. My complaints are minor, mainly that our heated mattress cover was deemed not appropriate so we have to get into a cold bed now. Also, the material that covers the mattress is very slick, so I find that the sheets come off the corners if you aren't careful about getting into bed. The Tempurpedic sheets have a strap under each corner that helps, but a tiny bit more friction would help keep the sheets in place. Ah, and very expensive. But for back pain, shoulder pain, sleep partners who move a lot, and a cooler temperature than cheaper memory foam mattresses, it may be worth it.

I love my new Tempur LuxeAdapt!!! Tempur-pedic is by far the best mattress MFG on the planet!!! No one else comes close!!! I incurred a back injury while serving my country during Operation Desert Storm!!! This is the only mattress that had the support I needed to get a great night's rest!!! When you spend 1/3 of your life in bed, why not spend it on the best mattress possible!!! Also, the warranty team is the best in the business!!! Rest assured, you are sleeping on the best product available!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND TEMPUR-PEDIC MATTRESSES!!! You will not be disappointed!!!

After just receiving our 5th mattress set in 18 years I think I can finally say, 'This is the best and our Last!' We both have bad backs and with other mattresses 3-4 hours after going to sleep we are awake and in pain. With Tempur-pedic we have made 6 to 8 hours before we'd waken. You definitely get what you pay for, and while they are expensive you really get what you wanted. Try them first.

WE bought a Tempur-Luxe Adapt soft and I am not happy with it. The one in the store was very soft and conformed to your body.When they delivered ours it was hard like a board.I have problems with pressure points and thought the softness would help.But it is hard and still bothers my pressure points. They tell me the mattress has to break in. Well I don't think it will every be as soft as the one in store.Don't know if they got mattress mixed up with the firm one but something is very different from one in store. Not Happy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If someone had asked me how I slept before I received this mattress I would have said "yea". Um, wow, after sleeping on the tempur pedic luxe I can see what I was missing out on. The way it forms to my body and is just so soft yet firm. The first night when I woke up I just felt so good. I normally have to snooze once or twice, but this time I didn't. I just got up. Also getting out of bed felt easier if that makes sense. Like actually easier on my body. I think this is due to the "adapt" technology of the bed. I would recommend this bed to anyone. If you feel like you are NOT getting good sleep I feel like this bed will knock your socks off and genuinely change your life.

We absolutely love Tempurpedic - this is our second bed! We do find the soft version is a bit too soft for us and wish we had gotten the firm model. If our room is too warm, the bed feels like pudding and my back hurts. As long as we keep the room cooler, the bed stays firmer. I just bought the sheets they sell and they are fantastic. They have straps to keep the sheets on the bed so when we use the power base they stay on.

Due to chronic back pain, I was searching for a really firm mattress. I purchased TEMPUR LUXE ADAPT (firm, queen size). I can't say it's really terrible. However, it's NOT firm enough for me, either. For people with chronic back pain, I really think that this mattress could be much firmer. I'm not sure if I like it.

Paid over 4k for a mattress that claims to be the best. It is the worst mattress I have ever owned. Rolling from side to side is a chore its like rolling up and down a hill depending on which way you turn. If you try to fall back on the bed its like landing on a semi hard surface it has no give. The cover makes no sense, my thought is that's how they resell a used mattress. Also there is no permanent tag attached to the mattress. Mine was attached by some tape or self adhesive which i believe is not in compliance with the state of CA. I am now stuck with a bad mattress for the rest of my golden years. So sad. PS I may reach out to CA consumer affairs in regards to the mattress tag.

I am a youngish person with years of back pain, mostly worsened by sleeping. I would only be able to sleep on my back with pillows under my knees for years. Had a very old original tempurpedic that worked miracles but after 10 years was wearing on my back. I replaced it with an organic high end latex mattress of moderate firmness and was disappointed immediately. After such a big purchase, it took years for me to start looking again for a bed that relieved my back and now shoulder and knee pain. Fast forward to having tried 2 different Tempurpedic beds that were not good for my back, the tempur flex prima in medium and one i can't remember the name of...Both were trrible for my back and Tempurpedic gave me one more try. Well after much deliberation between the Pro-Adapt Firm and the more expensive Luxe-Adapt Firm, I went with the mattress that felt most like my old original Tempurpedic- the Luxe Adapt Firm and I could not be happier. I have had the bed since Jan 2019 and I can finally say, no back, shoulder or knee pain since then. The bed cushions where I need it and it is not too firm for my frame which is slight-5"9" and 125 lbs. I worry that it will become too soft but that has not happened yet. I really love my bed and now never wake up in the middle of the night in pain because of my mattress. It is expensive, but when you spend almost 25% of a day in bed then the cost is justified. I am very happy with this purchase and have no complaints except that it is a bit difficult to move around because of the mattresses conforming ability, however, I don't need to constantly move because nothing hurts so for me this is not an issue
