The Michelin Defender had everything I was looking for in a set of new wheels. The tires are very well made, strong and sturdy and most importantly, they make me feel safe on the road. These tires provide a smooth ride on the highway and are rugged enough for our back country roads. The tread wear life is impressive and I feel for the life and wear and tear of these tires, that they are a good investment. I like the deep tread pattern and noticed during the rainstorm that the tires gripped the road and they are weather proofed very well. I felt safe during all of my recent commutes.

I just had these tires and they have excellent ride quality. I switched from Bridgestone Dueler HL tires which only lasted about 32k miles, but they rode very well. With the heft and XL rating of the Michelin tires I was worried that they would ride harder, but those fears were quickly proven wrong. Also, my first time driving on these tires was in the rain and the tires were excellent and confidence inspiring. I love that these also come with an extra 2/32 of tread compared to the standard LTX tire. I purchased the 275/55/r20 113T size tire.

Got a set on Tahoe with 54000 miles and they still look and perform like the day we bought them. Further more they still got 8-9/32 tread.Michelin in my book are the only tires out there. In the long run they as my uncle says cheapest tire too. They will outlast 2-3 sets of the other name brands.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got this these tires and put them on my husband's truck last month. The tires were quiet and smooth on the road, and even on gravel/dirt. We took them out in the rain, and had no problems. Haven't had them long enough to inspect any tread-related issues, but confident the tread will hold up over time based on the quality material construction. .

They are seriously great quality and I plan on them lasting a while for me. Thick, not dense & they look really good also! My husband is now purchasing these for his own truck he likes them so much! My SUV is in the shop currently with some recall getting that taken care of, so don't have a picture of them on my car..BUT I highly recommend

Replaced stock Jeep Gladiator tires with a set of Defenders. 100% quieter on highway - my main usage. Great wet traction.

I've had two sets on my truck and I've gotten less than 50,000 miles out of both seats. Each set had to be replaced at approximately 45,000 miles.

The tires perform very well in all conditions. Quiet, traction, and ride ! Had them on my 2002 explorer, and loved them then !!

This are the best tires ever super comfortable, the traction is another level and endless durability.
