I bought the open run but not happy with the quality of no bass. So I spent the extra money to buy the pro. It stated it had new bass technology but after trying it, found there was almost no difference. It is good quality for podcasts, but not for music

The headphones are fantastic. I will never buy another brand. Shokz is the only brand for me. They are very comfortable. It. Like they aren't there unless you need them. I will buy my kids a pair. I have been telling everyone I know. They are awesome.

I honestly thought the sound quality would be slightly higher and bass would be heavier after reading the marketing material etc. but the magic is in the light weight and ease of use and I’m happy with my purchase but if I knew the Run Pro's sound was so similar to the previous generation, I would have purchased the previous.

I was a bit skeptical because I'd tried a cheap knock-off brand of bone conductiong headphones and didn't care for them at all. Still, I kept hearing rave reviews from other runners about Choks and when they had a sale,I took the plunge. I ordered the Open Run Pro Mini and crossed my fingers they were as good as I'd hoped. Shoks are comfortable, unintrusive, fit perfectly against the side of your face, don't slip off when you sweat, they are lightweight, the buttons are easy to use and understand, even mid-run. When NOT actively excercising, like say, listening to an audio book while doing chores, I do notice them a bit more, but they aren't uncomfortable at all. Amazingly, You really CAN hear everything around you as well as whatever you are playing. It's not weird or strange and the only way they vibrate against your skin is if you crank them up to full blast and play something with a lot of bass. I'm totally sold! The only small downsides are I can't wear them in bed because of the design (haven't tried flipping them around) and getting them to connect to the 'correct' device when I['m using more than one is a bit fiddly. both of those downsides are the same as ANY set of listening devices, so It's not even a bad thing, just a minor annoyance.

These are a game changer. I'm an attorney and I've been using the OpenRun Pro for a few months now at the office. The multipoint pairing allows me to connect to both my computer and my phone. I use these to attend Zoom hearings and depositions frequently and everyone can hear me more clearly than with any other corded headset or webcam mic I've used in the past - and I've tried more than a few! I take phone calls all day long with no problems. The sound quality and mic quality are impeccable. I don't even know how the mic works - I guess it's also bone conduction because there's no boom or anything - it's like magic! I can listen to music while I work and still hear someone softly knocking or tapping on my door. I took a chance on these and I'm glad I did. Definitely worth the hefty price tag. Highly recommend.

Buttons are almost flush so love it but with numb fingers, hard to find, but doesn't get caught by my hair so love it. Clarity is amazing. Can listen to a podcast easily while the family watches wrestling. So that loud noise still doesn't block out talking and I do not have to crank them up to blast just to hear what is being said. My 3rd pair (previous ones victims of pets). Worth the upgrade each time for new features.

I love my Shokz. I carry my Apple Earbuds that were replaced and don't need them anymore :-). I have two items for improvement: 1.Biking over 20 mph there's too much interference from wind/airflow. Can you program the noise cancellation to address wind? 2. The pressure above my ears is too much when I am wearing my glasses. Any suggestions?

These are the bomb! If I lost them right now I'd buy a new pair on the way home. If you don't have a pair, you need to get them today. I'll bet I've sold at least a dozen pairs to friends and family in the last month alone. Everyone loves the mini size. Even my buddy who's 6'5"/250lbs and has a big head.

These are my second pair (not counting the comms that I’ve had for a few years now). The design is definitely upgraded. Much lighter to wear. I’m not sure whether it is the new jaw placement angle or other upgrades, but the sound is truly amazing. The sound is quite clear and clean. Although you can still sense the environment it is not as distracting, if that makes any sense. I would highly recommend these headphones for exercise, walking, or just doing things around the house.

I use my Open Run Pro’s (especially) for road cycling. It’s important to be able to hear what’s happening. These headphones fit that bill. However, I’ve learned they’re outstanding for online meetings (Zoom, etc.). iPhone Users. BE SURE TO SET (SAFELY) SOUND & HAPTICS>HEADPHONE SAFETY>REDUCE LOUD AUDIO, appropriately. For the first month, audio was extremely low. I was about to return the Open Road Pro, for lack of volume. Just be safe.
